Posted .Hi! Thank you for your review on our RIG 400HX headset, however we are sorry to hear about your experience. Please check where the mic plugs into the headset. There's a notch to help it stick in place and if the mic is in upside down, it won't click in all the way. Try halfway unplugging the mic, rotating it 180 degrees, and plugging it back in. You may also want to test the headset connected to a different controller/device to isolate completely the issue. I purchased received this 12/30/20 and it's completely dead today 3/3/21. In addition to it not working now, the first issue is the way they decided the ear covers. One of them came off within a few days and was a pain to put back on. This is definitely not a headset I would recommend and i would stay way from it. It's a joke they sell this for $44.99 and I paid $21.39 when it was on sale with free shipping. I really don't even think it's work the $21.39 even if it was working, but now I have to find a replacement and it's not even 3 months old. To recap, even if it was working, I regret buying it because how the ear pads come off way to easy. I'm not talking about how they clip on but the actual padding how it wraps and stays on . It' cheap and avoid at any cost. I buy a lot from BB and this was my first bad item.

Excellent for that part and that part alone. I wouldn't recommend them, but that is MY personal opinion.

Great price, but didn't last

Now the mic doesn't work properly. It sounds distorted and and is very low in volume. We tried it on several different devices and had the same issue everywhere. I am trying to see if I can get them replaced by warranty, because 2 months is not long.
