It has a very unique design to it, and it works. That being said, the 500 Pro HS is very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The headset is very light weight, yet it fits snug to your head. The company knew what they were doing when they designed these headphones. The ear pieces are constructed of leather, but has a piece of cloth attached to the part that cups your ear, to eliminate sweat build up. The mic is a nice feature too. Instead of a mute button, you just raise the mic up to mute it, and lower to talk. Another nice feature, the volume knob thats attached to the 3.5mm jack. This makes it very easy to raise and lower the volume. The sound on the Rig 500 Pro HS is incredible. You can hear everything around you, as well as behind you. It has a very good 3D audio feel that it utilizes, which really puts you right in the game. Aside from gaming, I decided to plug these into my iPad Pro to test out music...Needless to say, these sound great for music as well. The volume is very crisp and clear, and the bass is just deep enough, that it doesn't cause discomfort of distortion. Overall, I would say the 500 Pro HS is a fantastic headset, for gamers looking to step up their gaming experience, as well as get a good audio experience. So far I haven't found any cons on this unit yet, so I would definitely recommend them.

I also really like that they plug into the PS4 controller so I don't have to worry about them being charged when I set up for a night of gaming.
