|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Rig 500 doesn't break the mold for gaming headsets, but what it does do is pretty impressive! First and foremost they are light, comfortable, and sound really good! The frame (I guess you would call it) is super light and instead of having a pull down adjustment style it has 3 different ear phone levels that get the speakers near your ear with a self adjusting head band that keeps them there. The first impressive feature for me is the mic can be completely removed. If your not interested in talking or just playing single player you can simply remove the mic from the headset instead of having to mute and move it out if the way. The second feature that impressed me is the volume knob on the connector. It seems so obvious to do! It's great to have it out of the way yet easily accessible and I've never liked inline volume controls personally. These are a little pricey in my opinion but i think they are worth it. As I said they are really comfortable and after a few minutes I forgot I was wearing headphones!

The issue was the power cord got ruined. The company who bought these Nacon has terrible customer service. I tried to send them a email about purchasing a new cord and it wants pictures of the damaged piece and also proof of purchase. I am NOT looking for warranty since it is a not a warranty issue. I cant email them or call them and inquire about help without these things. I will never buy Plantronics again!
