I like these headphones. I’m not a huge video gamer but my kids play lots of them. I did test them out myself on both Fortnite and Madden in order to see how they were and I thought the sound was excellent. Great stereo and decent bass for headphones. They are comfortable on the ears and after I had them on for about 30 minutes, I couldn’t tell it was that long. My kids have both used them for one to two hours at a time and have said the same thing. There is a strap that flexes to fit your head and it is extremely comfortable. I like the volume button on the end of the cord as you plug it into the PS4 controller, that made a difference for me. My only issue, which I have worked through, is the connection of the microphone to the headphones can be a bit temperamental. Once we have it set so that it works well, we don’t move it. At times, if it gets bumped too much or the boom of the mic moves, the connection can become slightly loose and cause poor communications between you and others. I would definitely recommend these especially since it’s most likely not a problem on other sets. I will work with Plantronics on that part.

Sound quality is great and great quality chatting on the PS4 as well. The actual headset is very comfortable. Ears not sweating and not feeling hot while covering my ears. I have a two part complaint: 1a) the cord on the back for the sound is too short 1b) because the cord is too short, I have pulled it out on several occasions while moving around. I then either have to pause the game to plug it back in, or if I'm playing online, wait to find a slow area of the game and attempt to plug it back in before action resumes. Not the end of the world, but it gets annoying. Overall, it's great...just wish the cord was a little bit longer.

not very good quality, microphone broke in short time after purchase but long enough to not be returnable.you get what you pay for.

This is an expensive headset that feels good while being used but my one and only strong issue is that... THERES NO MUTE FEATURE!!!!!

The Rig 500 Pros for the PS4 have a nice sound with great noise isolation. I very easily got lost in the game and having the volume nob on the controller input made it great for when the noise in the house got louder. The microphone is great at only picking up your voice and it is very clear on the other end. It is easily detachable if you are not chatting with anyone or want to mute yourself. The ear cushions are really soft and I didn't have any trouble wearing them for a long period of time. The sound did cut off for a brief moment a few times but that normally happens when connected directly to a controller. Overall it's a good pair of headphones and they do a solid job at delivering precise in game audio with comfortablitly and ease.

Wouldn't pay $80 for these again. I wish I knew then what I know now. Just not impressed with these at all!

Comes with rubber pieces to make it adaptable for ps4, xbox, e.t.c. I don't think they are seized right as I only get audio out of one ear piece on my ps4 unless I wiggle the adapter. Then I get sound in just the other side. And yes im using the right piece to make it ps4 compatible. Not recommended

These headphones are the perfect, economical, most comfortable, well balanced headphones i used on a PS4 to date. Pros: -detachable microphone - adjustable headphones position to match every player's head size - super comfy headband (well padded), and has elasticity to it. - perfect position for the on/ off/ volume and they used a rotor instead of a button. - the audio dial is compatible with the PS4 controllers which ads a more immersive experience while playing. - very good sound quality for the price! - earcups are super padded and I can wear them for hours with zero discomfort. - the headphones look SICK! I love the design and the gold accents on black color. - plastic quality is good and it seems it will last a long time. - storage is a lot easier from your run of the mill headphones due to the detachable audio connector. - Kudos for using recycled paper for inner packing. things i wish improved: -NONE, as this is a great headset all around!

When I first bought it, it worked great but the more I use it the worse it gets.

They stop working in a week of purchased. My kids where sad.

I bought these back in July 2020 and they no longer work. I haven’t had them for a full year and they stopped working. Buy a cheaper headset and save your money. I didn’t much care for them before they stopped working.

I bought them for Christmas and they stopped working it May. The sound was crackling. This was bought for an adult so it was taken care of and not used more than 3-4 times in a week.

So after a few gaming sessions with this headset I think it is good overall. I play alot of shooters that rely on sound and this has decent quality with determining where the enemy is. The volume control is really nice. I gave it 4 starts because the noise cancellation wasnt the greatest. Also it took a little bit for it to fit comfortably. Might just be my head though. Overall for the process it's a good quality headset

The mic handle easily breaks. My first one broke after 2months, paid the insurance for a replacement then after a month the mic handle broke again. This headphone sucks. Don't buy it!

There is a volume adjuster but it's just not loud enough. Not a good bang for the buck. Very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this item to anyone.

The sound is very good and neutral. The ear pads are pretty comfortable and are a nice size. The light weight construction is also very welcome. The microphone also sounds pretty good. I did have some issues with comfort though, the headband pressed into my head just a bit too much and the frame couldn’t quite get the right fit on my head. For the price it is worth it.

The plantronics RIG 500 HS is a high quality wired headset for the PS4. it is light weight which allows you to wear it for hours. It has noise cancelling mic that flips up to mute and the amazing game audio dial that works with the dualshock PS4 controller all combine to provide an excellent value at this price point. The audio is excellent - it allows you to hear footsteps of your enemies behind you. Although this is sold as a controller for PS4 - it also works on other consoles.

plugs into the back of comp and that is where the volume button is. it is not convient at all. so no not happy with it

The sound on this unit is insane for the price, wow! I am not a huge fan of the overall build quality and feel, but when you plug them in all of that goes away. For the price you really can't beat this headset, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice gaming headset for their PS4 but not wanting to break the bank.

Complete piece of junk looks cool but if you drop it too many times the ear piece completely break off.
