Waste of time helped nothing. Switched to 3 dif controllers including a recently purchased one, the headset always seemed to be to low as far as game volumes went but echoed into everyone else’s party chat. My Astro headset cost half and has worked better and longer. Ended up buying the replacement aux cable and switched back to it.

In order to troubleshoot audio issues, please adjust the audio settings from your console by reducing the microphone volume. Please make sure that the plastic sleeve is set according to the game console (PS4 or XBox One). You might also want to test it with a different device (mobile phone/tablet) to see if you get the same echo.
