Please note the headband adjusts to three sizes (small, medium, large) by moving the ear cups in order to find the most comfortable and secure fit. These headsets are designed to fit the vast majority of ear shapes and sizes; however, we do know that one size may not fit all and if you find the product too uncomfortable for normal use we strongly recommend that you consider using a headset with a different wearing style. Good for gaming
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plantronics - RIG 500 PRO HX Wired Dolby Atmos Gaming Headset for Xbox One - Black These headphones are specifically designed to work with your Xbox One. The cord is 1.3m or about 4.25ft long. Also included is a Dolby Atmos activation code. As far as fit goes- the headband is cushioned and adjusts.The earcups are replaceable, dual material cushions. They are a little stiff so they're not super comfortable to wear for a long period of time but that may be due to it's noise cancelling design. The noise canceling mic is awesome. When you flip it up it automatically mutes. The sound quality is good. The volume is located right on the jack so it's easy to reach and adjust when needed. The one improvement I have is that I wish they were wireless. But the headset is more affordable than others and definitely a step up the basic one included with the console.

Bad mic

If you are having some audio issues with the microphone, you may want to switch to energy-saving mode on your console. Press the Menu Button and then Settings, select power & startup, select power mode & startup and change power mode from Instant-on to Energy-Saving. You may also want to test the headset connected to your mobile to isolate the issue. If for some reason you encounter the same issue, then it means the unit has an actual problem and it will be best to replace it. Felt low quality and cut out

The life expectancy of the product should be of at least a year, but this varies depending on the usage and on most cases it should be closer to 2-4 years. We thank you for bringing this to our attention. If the microphone is correctly inserted into the headset and you have the same experience, then it might have an actual problem related to hardware. This model comes with a one-year warranty from date of purchase and you should be able to request a replacement through our website if the seller is no longer able to replace it.
