||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent smart light bulb. The biggest drawback of the bulb is that it requires a hub/bridge to operate unlike some of the WiFi bulbs. Other than that the light works as intended.

After reading your review, it seems that you did not know additional items may be needed for the smart controls of this device. We would like to note that the Ring Smart light bulb does work as a standalone product. If you would like to use the smart controls the following is required Ring Bridge, Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen), or Echo 4th Gen. Please see our help center article for more information on our smart lights: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021664252-Ring-Smart-Lighting-Information.
