I needed an alarm system for my new place and I was happy with Ring products I’d used in the past. I researched some different products and this was the best deal in my opinion. I’ve had this for almost 30 days now and I am pretty happy with my purchase. I signed up for the Ring Protect Plan free trial and I am impressed. The reason for the 4-stars is because one of my sensors is faulty. Last week around 2:30 am my alarm went off. I turned it off on my phone, but I didn’t realize that in doing so I canceled the monitoring call. The next day around 4:00 pm I received a phone call from Ring. They were calling because the sensor had set my alarm off again. I was not home and hadn’t realized that the alarm was going off. I was impressed with the prompt response by Ring. I’m not sure what caused the sensor to go off...possibly the moisture in the air? It is on my bathroom window after all. Aside from that, the alarm system was very easy to install and set up. The app on my phone is very convenient. I would recommend this product.

They were simple to install and add to our Ring App security system. We have every door protected and they have worked great since day 1. If you are looking for a great way to protect your home and install it yourself I highly recommend these comtact sensors.

Bought this as a gift from someone but I have the same package and it works well.

I love that I can control the status of the alarm both from the keypad and from the app. It makes it really easy if I forget to set it when I’ve already left home.

Being a prior owner of another alarm system I can honestly say the Ring alarm system has all of them beat. Cost, ease of setup, support, and quality of product and system integration of other tech devices is all outstanding

Love the ring security sysem. We bought this kit to replace another wired system that the cameras had stopped working. Love the fact that the Ring is easy to setup without having to have someone come install for us.

Much more cost effective than having a professional alarm installation, works just as well, and works with Alexa. We love this alarm system. The alarm is super loud so even our neighbors can hear it.

This is a great product to secure your home with the access to law enforcement & rescue services. Although it’s not a hub to connect to other ring devices. My advice is to step up and get the pro if you want all devices to connect to one.

Purchased to protect our new home. We've used both Ring and Simplisafe in the past. Ring was on sale so we went with it. We have the Best Buy installation program and took advantage of it for planning the system component installation. The installation guys were on time and professional. The installation on our two doors and four windows took a little over an hour. The system is simple for homeowners to use--no degree in computer science needed to work it. I like that it's compatible with Alexa and can be worked through that app as well as the Ring doorbell app. Would buy again.

This security system has been working well for us so far, the battery life on everything seems to be pretty good and it gives us peace of mind.

I love this system. It works as it should and I have zero issues with it. Will definitely get more add ons for it.

My husband and I purchased this for our grandson. With him moving to a Major City in Texas to complete his education, we thought about safety first for him and his apartment. He is relatively in a good area to live, but it never hurts to have a little extra security, especially on this day of time. No one knows our future but it never hurts to know and use possible security precautions. Thank you for making these Texas Grandparents happy and feel that our grandson be safe as he continues on his journey.

Always had Ring cameras and liked seeing my house while away. Finally got the Ring home alarm system and so happy I did, no worries leaving dogs home alone and adding I’m adding 2 smoke/carbon monoxide alarms compatible with Ring, only $41 a piece, peace of mind for $82, absolutely!!!! Geek squad guys installed everything and did a great job! Note, if you want installation select that when you buy your system. Requesting installation after you already purchased you will be charged jnstead of it being free with purchase.

Installation took literally 30 minutes. From box opening to arming the alarm system's sensors and testing. Not offensive looking sensors on doors and windows, keypad that is still nearly fully charged and hasn't been plugged in since the day after I brought it home. I discussed with our homeowners insurance and the discount they gave us on our insurance more than pays for the professional monitoring services... win win. I placed a few Echo dots around the garage and first floor - and they became part of the alarm system to listen for glass breaks. My ring doorbell became part of the system, too.

This RING ALARM 8-PIECE KIT was fairly easy to install and more than adequate for our single-family home with the exception of a seperately-sold video doorbell, and I added a sensing camera, Now that its installed, all is working as expected. Disappointments were that instructions weren't as clear as they could be (called CS a few times and got good advice), the system seems to gooble cellular minutes, and central - expensive - monitoring is required for anything to really work. I thought I'd be able to monitor the system myself.

Easy to setup. The app is very intuitive and easy to use. Works great with echo.
