Works very well and there’s options on the sensitivity that I like so it’s not going off every time my dogs go outside.

Very easy to set up and use with the app. Notifications are sent to your phone every time a sensor is activated. Battery backed and controllable with keypad when internet is down. Loud siren.

The ring door or window senors where you have to play around depending on your home setup. I had couple issues opening windows and found out I needed to re-position the sensor closer for better contact.

I'm not disappointed in any of the equipment. It works fantastically. The app you have to use sucks though. The two step verification is a pain in the butt too.

Your Ring app is a powerful piece of software and the command center for all of your Ring devices. To setup your Ring Alarm 8-Piece Kit in the Ring app, follow these steps: 1. Download and open the Ring app. 2. Select Set Up a Device. 3. Scan the QR code on your Ring Alarm Base Station with the Ring app. Follow the steps in the app to connect your Ring Alarm Base Station to your Ring account. Set up one device at a time, and only pull the plastic film battery tab when the Ring app prompts you.
The menu (≡) is always in the same place in the upper-left corner of the app. Tapping on it will open a side menu and give you access to the rest of the app's functions. So glad an alert comes on my phone as well as the chime when the door opens. So glad I do not have to worry about the police being notified in case it is a "false alarm".

Small home and haven't setup the range extender, as I haven't needed. I like the rechargeable keypad as I can take to bedroom at night and family room in daytime.

Having total tech support with Best Buy was helpful if we needed it. The device was easy to set up and activate and we were able to do it on our own. We tested it several days before converting to monitoring which was a simple option and it allowed us to avoid false alarms.
