DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The keypad no longer works, the socket inside keypad has come off so i no longer have power to keypad. Since it is mounted on the wall, i have no clue how the socket would have become dislodged from the board. Bad design or poor workmanship. Also the cameras have the talk feature which is useless at best. I have 4 cameras and none of them have ever worked properly with talk feature. I am going to trash this product take the loss as lesson learned and spend a little more money on another product. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID.

If you are a Ring Protect Plus member, an added benefit of this plan is an extended product warranty that would cover replacement for the lifetime of the device. Rest assured, whether you are a Protect Plus member or not, we do have some solutions that can resolve your concerns and ensure you have a Ring device that is working as intended.
Based on your review, it seems that the Ring Alarm Keypad is no longer taking a charge. If the charger port broken, we first recommend reaching out to Ring support for a possible warranty replacement. All of our devices come with a limited 1-year warranty! Buyer Beware, App a Friend of Home Invaders
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Before you purchase any Ring alarm system you must know that the app doesn't require your code to disarm. If a home invader knows this then the Duress code used on the keypad is worthless. All the invader has to do while you are under duress is to have you disarm from your smart home. I unfortunately invested in one of these systems found this out after getting to know the app and getting to know the system. Sure, the app can be deleted but what good would that be when you are away and not able to monitor from your smartphone? The Ring company builds their reputation on being able to use the app to monitor your home while away while away so you wouldn't want to delete the app. The app is a friend of the home invader since a code isn't needed to disarm your system. Perhaps readers might I just tipped off home invaders with this review. Well maybe because of this Ring will correct this major mistake. I already informed Ring about this. Ring also doesn't have a review section on their website for anyone to use to write a review. Buyer Beware!!!

Disgusting Customer Service

The Customer service was adequate. Last week was the worst experience ever. The Neighbors alerts stop working on my app a few weeks ago. Attempted online help with the CS agent literally giving up assisting me after "timing out" and stating he had other customers waiting! I called the help line and spoke with a CS agent who did everything possible to get me to higher a "next" level tech support person. Second level tech support was too busy, and would pick up phone/connect. the CS agent requested someone call me and they did not. The CS agent was considerate enough to call me back to see if anyone called me, and I said no. He requested tech support call me at 8pm that evening, and they did not. Several hours wasted with no one at Ring interested in addressing the no Neighbors alerts. I am alerted of how many incidents are reported, but I cannot see what or where they occurred.

We are happy to read that the Safety Report is making its way to you. The Neighbors Safety Report is a free weekly report offered by Ring to everyone using the Neighbors feature and Neighbors App. The Neighbors Safety Report will appear every Sunday in your Neighborhood feed and will contain localized crime and safety incidents reported to law enforcement for your neighborhood. Neighbors is a free app from Ring that provides you with real-time crime and safety events delivered directly to your phone. You can easily share and communicate with your community about crime and safety issues impacting your neighborhood. Neighbors can be used alone, but it’s also incorporated into the Ring Always Home app that you’re used to using.
To enable Neighbors, visit the Control Center from the Ring app or at Ring.com and toggle on Neighbors. This will enable the Neighbors feed and notifications.
If you’re in the Ring app:
Tap the three lines at the top left of your Dashboard screen.
Tap Control Center on the left side of the screen.
In Control Center, navigate to the Neighbors section on the main menu
In the Neighbors page, you can enable or disable the feature via the toggle.

Does not do half the things it advertises
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You will get an alert that somebody's on your property but if you try to engage with the speaker it's impossible there is no two-way communication by the time it does connect the person has long gone it will connect anytime you don't actually need it but when there's somebody in the viewfinder it will not connect

We would love the opportunity to work with you to ensure your device is working as intended.
It sounds like there is some concern with the connectivity you are experiencing with your devices. If you are experiencing delays in receiving notifications or connecting to your device, there are two things you should check first.
The first thing you will want to do is check for low upload speeds. To determine whether or not the poor video or audio quality is caused by low upload speed, run a speed test from your PC or mobile device while connected to the same wifi access point to determine if your network can support Ring devices.
The second thing you will want to check for is poor signal strength. A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity with your Ring device to be unreliable. Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range.

We’d love to work closely with you to ensure you have a Ring Alarm installed that is securing your property, and providing you with the peace of mind our products are intended to.
By following the instructions in the Ring app, one should be able to walk through installing the Base Station and the various Ring Alarm sensors. Each step in the app features guided instructions, often with video tutorials for visual reference.
