It has a Z wave option built into it but also can connect to Wi-Fi enabled devices. Great option if you already have ring cameras like the doorbell.

The installation process is a piece of cake!! The set up process literally holds your hand all the way through getting it set up to your like and is very user friendly. Only thing I had an issue with (which was a quick fix), you have to select the doors that you use to exit as your Main Door to not set off the alarm upon exit or entry with the delay on.

It was easy to setup and link base station with all the sensors. The ring phone app pretty much is a guide helping you all the way during the setup to completion. We have tried the siren and its really loud so that neighbors could also hear it. Go ring! Go security!

I was shocked at how easy this was to get up & running. Worked beautifully immediately! Even with the home setting opening of the doors still sets off a pleasant chime; or was perfect for us as we were monitoring doors to keep a dementia patient from wandering. Alerting is to potential intrusion efforts was a great bonus. Will worth the money & potential home owners insurance discount.

It works well. Set up is easy. I am glad it includes 5 days of practice for alarming. I only wish it had a better way to ensure that my cat will not trigger motion; it has three settings; I just wish the motion detector worked like the doorbell camera with detection areas visible.
