These do exactly what they are advertised to do. Simple install and long battery life. The Ring ecosystem however is a subscription based design. If you want the features to work you gotta shell out money after you already bought the hardware. Remeber getting satellite TV and they give you the hardware because they know that the monthly charges are how they make money...this is a double dip.

Simple and convenient option to detect motion and send alerts on your configured device. Cover larger area and since the pack has 2 detectors, it can be used in multiple areas of the house. Also, it can configured to go silent or control is completely from the device while on the home network or outside as long as the security system at home is connected and you can access it anywhere from your configured device.

Had no issue installing the motion sensor. Much better than the ones I bought from ring.com

These motion detectors work great with the Ring home security system. I purchased these as add-ons to my Ring security bundle, and mounted them around my house where needed. They are powered by lithium batteries, so wiring is no issue. Plus, the batteries are replacable whenever the power is suspect. This way, you always have fresh batteries and won't have to buy expensive rechargeable batteries. Personally, I like the Ring system because it's a good unit for the money.

Easy to install and great way to keep home protected!

I have one in the front of the house that came with the kit, but I needed one for the back living room, in case someone tries to break in there. I've tested this myself and it is really sensitive and works in pitch darkness.

Easy to install. I used 3m tape. They pick up just the same as my old wired ones did. So far no false alarms.

The ring system come with many when I first purchase your back years ago and so I wanted to purchase more motion sensor but saw the two at a great low price ring is a good security system with no contract to sum it up these motion sensors work great

These motion detectors are easy to install. Be sure to test it when you are done to understand the coverage. The coverage was a little less than I expected, but my expectations may have been too high. Be careful with the install - use the screws even if you use the double stick tape. I used the double stick tape and the device fell down after a couple of weeks.

I’ve bought several of these from a few places to add to the kit I bought. Overall they’re a good product. The one negative I don’t like is after they detect motion there’s a period of time until they’ll detect motion again. Basically, a reset period. Other than this they are perfectly fine. Easy to install and easy to hook up to the ring app. Overall I’d say they’re a 4 star since the one negative is more of an inconvenience than an actual negative.

We have several Ring products around the house, inside and out. We needed to add one more motion detector in an otherwise unprotected room. This was the perfect compliment to an already great security system.

I felt I needed two more motion detectors in the house and I’m glad that Ring has the extra accessories available for purchase. Super easy to install with your Ring alarm system. They also supply all the hardware you need to mount the detectors.

The unit is easy to install. Because of my intricate doorframe the gap was too wide for the sensor to work properly—to fix I bought and attached a neodymium magnet—rediculously strong—to make the sensor work.

Great accessory for my ring alarm system. I have found these to work very well and I like that it flashes when motion is detected to let you know it has picked up motion even if the sensors are not currently active.
