Nice Ring security alarm easy to Ring App come with 1 month free

This is a great security system. I have the complete set for my home and just purchased it for my parent's home. The only thing I have trouble with is continuing to charge the battery. Other than that, it's a great security system and well priced.

They system works great! No complaints with equipment. Installers were friendly, courteous and helpful. Only compliant is with installation scheduling. Installer was from Fort Atkinson, WI. Service location was in Yuba, WI. Installer had to drive from Fort Atkinson to La Crosse, WI and then back to Yuba for installation. There are Best Buy stores in Madison, WI which is on the way from Fort Atkinson to Yuba, WI. Going to La Crosse to pick up the equipment and back to Yuba, WI is adding approx. 5 hours to his trip.

I bought the Ring Alarm 8 pc security set because I am able to add the system to the Ring App where I have additional cameras installed. Leary about setting up the entire system, but followed the directions in order and was able to set it up by myself. I had one issue, but got it quickly resolved by calling the Ring customer service number. Ring, btw has fantastic customer service! The best part is there was no additional charge to hook up to fire and police. My existing yearly fee covered the cost, as opposed to the high costs of monthly fees of other alarm companies. After set up the system is very simple to use, including the ability to adjust the time needed to exit the house after setting the alarm. You can also set or disarm the system from the Ring app!

The system is just fine. It works, it isn't terribly hard to set up the base station. The kit includes a pile of stuff, including a Z-Wave extender (that's ultra not clear in the product description, this is not a general WiFi extender, it is used to extend the network Ring uses to work). I was able to add my Schlage smart locks fairly easily (except Ring thinks it knows better than you, it erases all the codes in your lock - a really bad thing for it to do). One lock is a Connect - can control everything through the app, locking / un locking and lock status. The other is an older key pad that sends the activate code to the lock and allows manual turning of the lock. Except there is no lock / un lock status in the app. MyQ garage door opener, works a lot less well with the app. Basically you get a door status and then a link that opens the MyQ app to activate the door. I bought this to manage my door locks, and it does that job. If you are buying this as a real live security system, you have to subscribe to the professional monitoring - right now $10 per month. Ring works really hard to get you to buy that protect plus subscription (notice is always present at the bottom of the app, and default when you try to subscribe). They manage to make the plans confusing, protect is video recording for the doorbell. Protect Plus is the professional monitoring and video recording. I absolutely hate the whole Ring neighborhood subsystem. It's frankly worse than NextDoor. I get more stupid announcements about coyotes and fox on the loose - Protect Your Children!!!!! There's no way to get rid of those announcements, or screen them.

This is an excellent ring product and easy to install!!! The gentleman who helped me complete my installation was great.

So far I love it. The 4 additional cameras i have are good quality and a big plus because there Wireless put them outside or inside but I choose inside I got two separate surveillance for outside but so far I really like the system it's much louder than my previous system which is good I get all my notifications even though sometimes they might be slightly delayed I still got to tweaked a little the sensitivity of the motion detection inside but can't put it on too high because he'll be going off all day besides that I love it.. bought 4 different ring wireless cameras and a ring doorbell all of them work beautiful. All together will be a little expensive with the six additional sensors but I say if you want to self monitor it's an excellent system and if you pay the $100 for all the cameras plus the surveillance monitoring I say that is an unbeatable price for a year of service.. (Optional) of course. But I say if you want a self-monitoring security system this is it and if you feel like paying for professional monitoring this is also great..

So easy to self install. Had it up and running in minutes and if you get the security service your insurance company will give you a discount on your home policy (in Connecticut at least)

Bought this at first because a Christmas special. Since installation I have become a Ring bigot. installation was amazingly simple and equipment has performed flawlessly. Have bought additional equipment to get full house protection.

Love ring!!! Has always been a great company I had the gen 1 system and recently got the gen 2 and I love it so much more it is even more slick than before doesn’t look bulky at all, also love that it’s $10 professional monitoring and also give us video storage on all our cameras. Best investment I’ve done! Again recommend ring such a simple system to set up and great products!

In my experience, the installation of this security system was straightforward and hassle-free. The cameras, in particular, were simple to mount and connect, which I appreciated.

Inexpensive, easy installation, effective and simple to operate. I added additional cameras and motion detectors. We don't use the keypad since the app is so convenient, The cost of monitoring is reasonable. I would buy it again.

We purchased the Ring Alarm for our new home in January. It has provided my family and I with piece of mind and a sense of security in our new environment. It is taking a little time to get use to the new sounds in the new house, but we sleep well knowing that we have a quality security system.

I love this system, can’t wait to purchase more! Very user friendly.
