I took a leap and canceled Brinks for Ring and I'm very glad I did! I bought a separate 6 pack of contact sensors and 2 two packs of sensors. Every door and window in my house is secured. Very easy to install; the app does most of the work. I signed up for the professional monitoring as well.

Ring Security Kit

Door and window sensors work well, camera good video. You get like 30 days to save your videos, then Ring wants you to pay to save your video, like $3 monthly, per camera or $10 a month for all. (something like that). Not fan of that, should be free storage for a few days at least. Don't store video now, just alerts. Don't think there is an option to store locally, like SD. Haven't looked to deep though. I have Arlo cameras in other areas, and don't pay anything for 7 days of storage. All in all its a good system, and especially if you want to pay someone to save camera videos for a few days. It works well, easy, good cost, and does everything suggested by Ring. Prob. Would have rated it one higher with free storage.
