Don’t pay other installation companies that then charge you 3-5 times more monthly than what this costs for monitoring. It does the same job as any of those companies, for way less!

I needed this part for another $200 or $300.

It sounds like there was some confusion regarding the different accessories for the Ring Alarm. The Ring Alarm Flood and Freeze Sensor works with the Ring Alarm Base Station to alert you when water or freezing temperatures are detected in your home. A Ring Alarm Base Station is required to use the Ring Alarm Flood and Freeze Sensor. Your sensor should be placed within 250 feet of the base station. If necessary, you can use a range extender. Visit our support center for additional information and to learn more about the different Ring Alarm accessories available to help monitor your home.
