The 1536p resolution is noticeably better than standard HD doorbells. Colors are bright and the night vision is very clear. The battery life has been impressive so far, even with frequent visitors. If you’re looking for a reliable, battery-operated option that covers your entire porch, this is it.

It’s been great. I love the ring and it’s wonderful to be able to see live and past videos of anybody coming to the house or leaving packages so I’ve really enjoyed it.

Works well...has a clear image and easy to set up. I find it weird that it requires the battery even if hard wired to the house, but the battery does last. Pretty long time. I previously had the pro, but it stopped working...this 1 seems equal to what I got with that 1 for less the price and i like that its not a plastic button to press to ring the doorbell.

Very easy to install and the video quality it top notch. I can see everything even when raining or snowing.

Great unit. Easy install with no wires. I added the solar panel back plate to extend the battery life. I do keep a second battery charged so there is no downtime when the battery needs charging. Easy to connect to the home WiFi. Video and Audio is suprisingly clear. I highly recommend.

This is my second ring doorbell unit purchase. The first one was relocated to back door. The ring units are easy to install and connect to wifi. Video is of high quality and battery charge last a long time. I have a spare battery ready to change when needed. The charge does take a little longer that I thought, but does last.

I’m happy with this purchase. Battery life last for a long time and overall easy to use and set up. I purchased a rental friendly mount for the door so I didn’t actually mount it on a wall. Easy to charge and quality of video is great.

Im grateful i got it, i was debating between this and the google nest but the camera quality sold me on this one, the features are great but the fact that the good ones are behind a pay wall is outrageous. Solid purchase tho, you wont regret it since the basic features serve the intended purpose.

This Ring doorbell replaces an older (I think version 1?) unit, which I inherited from the previous occupant of my house. It is definitely a worthy upgrade. Two main reasons why it is better: 1) Battery can be removed (and replaced with a charged spare battery) for recharging rather than having to detach the entire unit for charging; and 2) the camera is much better, in particular with an option to see a wider field of view.

Super easy install, and video is really clear. A good battery doorbell.
