After reading your review, it seems that you may be having some trouble installing your Ring Floodlight Camera. Our Ring products are marketed as DIY (do it yourself) devices, but we do understand some devices may be more difficult for some users to install themselves. Installation by a qualified electrician may be required in your area. Refer to your local laws and building codes before performing electrical work; permits plus professional installation may be required by law. We understand the importance of having a seamless setup process and how it can be concerning to see that the device will not set up accordingly. Moving forward if the Ring products and features are not matching your expectations, we have some options available for you.

The Floodlight Cam Wired Pro has Advanced Motion Detection, Customizable Motion Zones and Customizable Privacy Zones that are controlled from the Ring app. In addition, the Floodlight Cam Wired Pro has advanced features including radar-powered 3D Motion Detection, Bird’s Eye View for more precise motion alerts, Audio+, a 110db security siren, dual-band wifi, is compatible with Amazon Sidewalk and an array microphone that limits sound detection.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble connecting your Ring Floodlight Camera to your home wifi network. When this occurs, we recommend rebooting your wifi modem and router. Since your router and modem are usually the hardest working devices in your house, for optimal performance you should reboot them about once a month. To reboot routers or modems, follow the instructions below:
Unplug your router or modem from its power supply (don’t just turn it off).
If your router and modem are separate, unplug both of them.
Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in.
Wait for your internet to be restored.
