I was concerned about the existing wiring not being able to reach the doorbell, so we didn't install it until we found this chime. The chime connected easily with the doorbell and the app made it super easy to setup and use. I love it.

Sometimes I'll get a notification that someone rang my doorbell while I'm near the chime and it doesn't go off. When I check the status on the app it says not connected to wifi.. it is definitely in range of my wifi/router.

I like the ease of connection with the ring doorbell. Keep in mind though that these will depend on how good your internet is

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the Ring Flood light, we returned that as well as this chime, the chime worked fine however the Ring did not! its only 2.4 needs to be 5.0 I mean really, it wouldn't show the video and ding and if it was fast movement it didn't capture it (which was rare)! So disappointed in this product. AGAIN this chime worked like it should my hate for this product was the camera itself!

Without this, my phone was the only thing that would alert me when my ring camera went off. However after buying this, my entire household can now attend to the door as well.
