The chime is a doorbell extender for use with ring product. You plug the chime to an outlet in your home. Then you will know when someone is at your door. This comes in handy for those who do not have the ring app on their phone. Works great so far.

It's a moderately loud chime and does a great job at alerting .

It was easy to set up and add to my devices on the Ring app. I just wish it would be either more affordable or included with the doorbell itself. The reason I bought this was because my chime became too soft to here after installing the Ring doorbell (even with the power kit).

I have been very pleased with Ring line of products. The Ring Chime was no exception. They are great to have in various places around the house so you never miss a notification from your doorbell or camera. They connect right to your wireless internet very easily.

Very loud. I only wish it had a volume control. But it works fine since we have it in our hallway. It’s great if you have kids that do not have the Ring App on their phone.

Plugged it in, connected to our network and it worked immediately. There are no options to change chime or ring tones though. There is only one ring tone. Side of the box is a bit misleading, indicating there are rising tones to choose from. Contacted the manufacturer, that feature is not available yet. Otherwise all else works as advertised.

Purchased two of the Ring Chimes for our house since we our house doorbell wasn’t able to be heard upstairs. With the added piece of mind of the Ring doorbell these are great additions for getting notified of someone at your door.

This could be better. Keeps going offline which causes the light to blink constantly which is annoying to my dog. Other than that the doorbell feature works pretty loud enough to hear it clearly

The doorbell rings through every Echo device in my house, so honestly, this was a waste of money. I kept it just in case my next place has someplace I don't want Alexa but need to hear the doorbell. Otherwise, it is useless as I have an Echo device in every room.

Wanted to have a door chime in the basement. The wireless setup took second to get going. Highly recommend to anyone looking for adding door chime in areas of the house that main door bell is not connect to.

I needed this component because I was missing it from the Ring kit (which was a hand me down from family). So I was weary about buying since it did not come with the original kit. However, it works fine and I am happy with this purchase.

I like being able to pick the sound of the doorbell. It was a little timely to setup but I finally figured out that it needed to be rebooted. The sound level is ok. I am not sure if I could hear it over the TV or stereo.

It made sense to purchase a chime to go with my video doorbell, and as far as ringing with the doorbell it works. But sometimes the ring logo flashes for no apparent reason and I can't detect anything on the app. So I unplug it for a while and then it's fine.

Works well and is easy to setup with the ring doorbell

After I purchased the ring doorbell later I added the ring chime because I seem to have a problem with leaving my cell phone lying around and I never got the notification that someone is at the door. Now with the ring chime, I can ALWAYS hear the ring doorbell.

I do like it for that additional notification, it's just not loud enough for me especially if I'm in another room and my phone isn't close by. I do have the ringer on the loudest setting. Otherwise it definitely does let you know when someone is within your Ring area and when your doorbell is rung.

We ordered this chime to extend the coverage in our house. The chime is extremely easy to setup and connect and the choice of ring tones is nice so we know which doorbell or sensor is being activated.

Decent product if you don’t need the extender. Well definitely ring and do it it is expected but it will not extend the Wi-Fi range. Get the pro because that way at least you have multiple uses for this product.

You should get it. I returned the ring becaus I decided to put cameras up. But, if you have the ring, this is a necessity. It gives you a doorbell chime If your phone is on silent or in the other room, you can still hear when someone arrives
