    This should come with the doorbell. Speaks volumes about the old nest company. Maybe Amazon will make it the way it should be. App doesn't work when you need it to. That's unacceptable.

    Max volume isn't

    Not easy to set up but major problem is max volume only provides a whisper of sound. If you are more than 10 feet away, unless there are no noises whatever in your home, you won't be able to hear the chime. As far as I am concerned, junk. Looking for other options.

    Worst speaker quality ever. I had to check others to see if mine was defective. 90% of the chimes available are annoying, and you can't add your own. Same price as Google home or Echo Dot on holiday price. Terrible investment. Should be included with product.

    Couldn’t get it to work

    I connected it to the Internet. It worked once and then stopped working. It’s also pretty annoying to install, and the reset button requires to go searching for a paper clip to unfold to see you can insert it in this tiny hole.

    I thought I would be able to change my doorbell ringtones. No. Just this chime. So, my doorbell’s ringtone stayed the same and my doorbell chime stayed the same as well. Do not waste your money!!!!

    DIdn't get a chance to use it, I returned it with the doorbell. If you buy the doorbell it only rings to your phone and you need to buy this adapter to plug into an outlet to be able to hear it in the house.

    I used to have one at my old home. I left it there for the current tenants. I don’t know if it’s the app or the new chime but I don’t like how you can’t mute the motions on this. Needs and improvement.

    The Wi-Fi antenna isn't that great, not to mention it may interfere with signals to other devices. If you really want an extra chime hire an electrician to do it right

    My mechanical chime wasn't working well with my Ring Doorbell Pro. It'd play maybe 25% of its notes (quietly) and then just give up. So, to spite an unworthy chime, I bought three Ring Chimes and told the app not to ring the mechanical one anymore. Logistically, it also made more sense than just replacing the mechanical chime with another. It's a large 2-story house with an almost-apartment in the back for my parents, so a regular chime just isn't going to be heard everywhere. With three, the doorbell can be heard anywhere in the house with ease. They're actually pretty loud too. Setup was easy and doesn't take long. You can also set individual rings for each chime, which isn't that important but may come in handy when I'm feeling particularly annoying one day. There are some great annoying rings too (and some great normal ones, if that's your thing). So I might be poorer for buying three, but I don't regret any of it. And next Thanksgiving, my parents get to hear a turkey every time someone rings the bell.

    Terrible sound, Had it installed with ring doorbell since my own doorbell would not work with the Ring system. It was irritating and it was returned along with the Ring system

    This product does nothing more than play one single tone the same one your phone does and the app only has two options and that's to toggle the motion and call settings on or off.
