It's great to have the app on your phone, but there are times that your phone is off/muted or just not around you. If that's the case and someone rings your doorbell, you wouldn't know that someone is at the door. Super easy to set up (less than 5 minutes). I wish it came in a different color - it's kind of ugly, but we just plugged it in behind the couch. The ugly factor is the only reason it got 4-stars... otherwise it would be 5.

It's small, compact, set up was fast and super easy. I like that I don't have to worry about batteries and can place it in any outlet I like. In the app you can even choose to silent the chimes if you're putting the baby down for a nap and don't want to be disturbed, which is nice. The only thing I would like to see is an update so you can choose a different ring tone than the standard chime.

Once we had our Ring 2 installed, this was an obvious add-on that was easy to use and convenient to move about the house as our needs have changed.

It sounds pretty loud for our small house. Get two if you have a two story home. Place close to wifi where it works off of.
