I know when someone is at my front door from the 3rd floor. I love the many different tones I can choose.

Be sure to use your tablet or smart phone to set this up. Using your desktop will not work. It has the ability to select a number of "ring tones" which I was not expecting but a great feature.

I have had this for a while now and I’ve had zero problems with it. It is loud enough to be heard throughout my home but my home is only 900 sq fr with two floors. Wish it came in another color. If you are using the ring doorbell with an Alexa device, this might not be necessary as Alexa will also announce that there is someone at the door or if there was motion at the door. All sounds combined can be a bit much.

This is a great addition to the RING doorbell system. easy to install and Works great with SMART device.

Got this item because the app keeps delaying; this chime is automatically, loud enough for my grandparents & easy to install.

I have 2 ring doorbells. My neighbor came over and rang the doorbell but both mine and my husbands cell phones were turned down and we didn't hear it. So I went today and picked up this ring chime to plug in and it was awsome to set up with both doorbells. It took about 2 minutes to set up. I love the tones they offer too.... They are so funny.... You won't be sorry with this purchase.

Setup was plug and play and makes a huge difference for the overall experience with Ring! Only thing I haven't figured out is how to get different tones on the ring. Even though I have my Ring hard wired in, the stock doorbell I have is very old and not really that loud, so adding these plug in units at the far ends of the house makes it much easier to know when someone is at the door. Since my wifi signal is great throughout my house, it makes the delay very minimal.

I put off purchasing the Chime for my Ring doorbell because I was using the Amazon Echo devices I currently have as my chimes. However, I soon started experiencing issues with my Echo devices when I was trying to set up speaker groups to play music throughout my home. Now that I have dedicated Chimes throughout my home, I no longer have any issues and everything works flawless.

If you have a Ring and are having random issues with your mechanical doorbell sometimes not ringing AND you’ve already replaced your voltage converter to a 30 amp model: just get this. It’s $30 and works great. Can select multiple chimes and also have more than one in the home. The app lets you name them and can also control the volume of each one. It’ll not only give you doorbell alerts, but also motion alerts as well!

The Ring doorbell rings when pushed, outside. This chime allows you put the inside bell anyplace you want it. When the doorbell is pushed the chime will notify you with a sound of your choice inside the house Simply plugs into an outlet and can be moved anywhere. You can also add more than one if you want a backyard chime (I don't believe it is rated for outside use) but if your having a summer party you could put one out there temporarily
