We added the ring chime and disconnected our original obnoxious door bell. Works great. The best feature is that it also rings when there is motion on our porch where the ring doorbell is located. Also, you can change the chime sounds through the Ring app on your smart phone.

Good size with good chime volume allows it to be heard in several rooms. Just plug it in.

Very easy to install and use. I bought it because my door bell was not working properly and I personally love the ring chime so much. Being easy to set up, you can also establish your own personal doorbell ring which makes it awesome especially during the holidays.

I’ve owned a ring chime for years. I don’t carry my phone with me in the house so this chime/doorbell is fantastic notifying me of motion plus the ringing of the doorbell. It’s let me know immediately when a delivery arrives.

Love knowing who is at my door and to be able to talk to them without opening the door. farthest I’ve been away from Indiana and checked the motion/talked to the person at my door is Oklahoma and it worked just as well as if I was there in the house

This Ring doorbell is great it deters people from parking in front of my house and would be thieves, The only problem is the batter need to be charge about every 8 weeks. I suggest getting an additional battery.

I have the ring doorbell which is an okay device with a few issues but what dosen't. I for this doorbell chime to added on to my doorbell because my wife still wanted to hear the doorbell but didn't want the app on her phone. So far I've had it installed for a bit a month and no issues with the chime so far.

This makes it so easy to know if someone is at your door, or is walking past your security cameras/floodlights. You can customize the tone for each of the Chime's so you can get an auditory alert, and don't have to reach for your device.

I purchased the Ring door bell and since mine is not hardwired there is no chime in the house. Ro be alerted other than on your cell. The chime is loud enough to be heard of you are in another part of the house. This is a must of you go wireless.

A perfect addition to the ring doorbell. Very easy to install to the app, a little confusing a first since it doesn't come with directions but if u use some common sense you realize u add it through the app. Lol it took me a second. :-)

I like that you can change the ring chime tone as well as having a separate tone for motion detection. I did not realize the Ring would sound my current home doorbell as well so I bought two of these, but that can be turned off in settings so I can have my custom tones

Does what it's advertised to do. Comes in handy for adding a chime to the doorbell.

What I didn't know is, you can add this to your existing doorbell...so in a sense you have two doorbells. If there is a place in the house where you can't hear the doorbell, just add this to an outlet and it chimes for you. It also has a few choices of chimes for you to choose from (including vicious, barking dog...lol)

I just added the doorbell extender to my Ring Pro and it works flawlessly. Makes it possible to hear the doorbell even upstairs. It's near a bedroom so it was nice to be able to silence it during specific parts of the day or night. Highly recommended.

It does what it's intended for. It has different chimes and different sound levels.

If you have a Ring and want a normal doorbell chime without using your phone, this works OK. Has two big limitations. One can't change the chime sound (only has the default Ring tone). Two it intermittently cuts out and doesn't work. Works most most of the time, just not always (kind of like the Ring device itself). If Ring can fix these problem, would be a great device. Recommended only if you need a chime for an existing Ring doorbell.
