Received the door chime as a gift but tone was not loud enough from phone/iPad. Now I can hear the bell all over the house

The device is great for houses where you can't hear the ringer from the door bell or your device. This basically gives you the ability to put the ringer in a distant room of the house. It was very easy to setup and connect.

It used to be that when you buy a doorbell it comes with the doorbell and the chime, but with Ring it doesn't. But you have to find out for yourself that you have to buy the chime separately to hear the doorbell ringing inside the house. So, if you buy a Ring doorbell, and your own a large house it is better to buy this product along if you are happy just with the notifications on your smartphone then leave the doorbell alone.

This device disconnects from the network periodically and even on the highest volume setting can not be heard from an adjacent room, overall an ok product though.

Like all my purchases from Ring, this product works as advertised; helps alert us when our phones are not nearby/audible. Extremely easy to set up. Highly recommended.

Ring - Chime is loud where you can here it anywhere in the home. Best purchase i ever made for a chime. Go get one with your Ring Door Bell.

Great little aux ringer. Allows less worry about missing a iPad ring notice. Everyone in the office hears the chime regardless of computer ring notice settings. Well worth the money.

I love the additional chime for my Ring. I placed it in an area in the back of my home so I can still hear of someone’s arrival to my home.

This goes hand in hand with Ring. It is the ringer to the doorbell in the house. You can put it anywhere. It is really helpful since I can hear from the back room of the house.

It helps having the alarm inside the house, so if I'm not near the phone or door, I can know when someone is here. Absolutely drives the dogs crazy!

I have 2 of these in my phone and the are definitely worth it. Easy to set up and Ring is even updating during the holidays for themed door bell tones which is a cool feature.

What can I say, its a chime... I can now hear the doorbell in places I couldn't before, like the bathroom, outside, in the closet... It works!
