My house did not have a hard wired doorbell, so there was no "chime" inside the house when I installed my Ring Doorbell. This is a great necessity in order to hear the activation of the door bell. of course outside the house the button makes the chime but you cant hear it in the house. this chime plugs into any available outlet, pairs in your ring app and when the ring doorbell is pushed you will hear a chime in the house or the garage or the shed, where ever you plug it in.

easy to install. and great look compact at home. also really loud. loud enough for a two story house.

I live in a two story House and the chime is still the top of the stairs on the second floor. With the Ring chime plugged in an outlet in the living room you came always hear the bell. Great companion to the doorbell.

I couldn't hear the doorbell in my bedroom because of the distance to the living room where the chimes were located. With the simple plug in of this device I now can hear it along with motion alerts. Great addition.

The chimes are very easy to install. I have one upstairs and one downstairs and they work great. A perfect solution in a home that does not have an existing wired doorbell system.

This is a fantastic product. Multiple chimes to choose from. You can set up a chime specific to motion and a different sound/chime for the ring doorbell. I purchased this, because my original door chime stopped working with my ring doorbell. I like the ring door chime so much, I would recommend installing this even if your in home door chime works. The motion detection chime is so worth it. Also I have it turned all the way up and can hear it throughout my two story home.

The existing doorbell was not very loud and when in back rooms, could not be heard. Placing the chime in the back hall allowed the doorbell to be heard quite well! The pairing to Ring doorbell was extremely easy!

We like the Ring Doorbell, sends the ring to our phones. But with this chime (we have 2), we can now hear the ring when we are not close to our cell phones. We also like that we can move them around the house to suit our needs.

Works great. You can control the volume to make it louder if needed. Just makes it easy to know if someone is at your door if you don't have your phone on you all the time

This device works very well with the Ring Doorbell. There is no lag between when someone pushes the doorbell and the chime ringing. Given the lag in the smartphone app this is essential for any Ring owner. The sound is loud enough to fill a couple of adjacent rooms but not a two story house.

One of the problems with the Ring doorbell is that it only rings on your phone-which isn't such a good idea if your phone is charging, or in another room, or if you turn it off when you go to bed. Chime allows your Ring doorbell to work like a regular doorbell, and you can place the Chime anywhere you want, move it anywhere else, and add another Chime whenever you wish. Well worth the price; we have two. Easy to set up, adjustable volume, and multiple bell sounds to choose from. Recommended.

I have a townhouse so it;s good to have one upstairs and one downstairs. More importantly if I have guests overnight and I have my phone with me they would never hear the doorbell ring if I wasn't home!

Great companion for Ring Doorbell. You can place it where you can easily hear it when someone ring your doorbell and assuming you dont have your phone with you (which notifies yoi as well). You can buy multiple of these as many as you need to ensure you dont miss the doorbell. Just plug in to the AC outlet and connect to your wifi and set it up through your Ring app.

I love that my Ring Doorbell 2 now has a chime inside my house, and it is a customizable one at that. They even release holiday themed sounds that you can use for the chime.thag make it fun to use.

Volume and chime can be changed. Seasonal chimes available. This doorbell fools my dog so she isn't constantly barking when the doorbell rings!

I have a 3 level home. I put one of these on the top level, & the other on the bottom. They are used in conjunction w/Ring doorbell. I love that I can see who is at my front door! Gone are the days of running from the top level of my home to open the door for a pesky realtor!

Since my smartphone goes silent at night (too many dings from emails, texts, etc.) this addition to my Ring camera network ensures I get an audible notice if one of the cameras is triggered.

I original brought two ring chime thinking one wouldn't be loud enough. I was very mistaken, I took one back because I could hear the chime through the whole house with just one ring chime being plugged in.

We added this to our Ring doorbell for those times we don't have our phone near us and want to be able to hear the doorbell ring. Wish one was included with the main Ring unit, but otherwise this is great.

The unit was easy to set up and works great. When setting this up you have to wait for a pulsing blue light. This was hard to see in a bright environment, otherwise no problems.
