If you don't have a wired doorbell then this is for you. Will let you know about motion also.

It works like a doorbell. If you dont have one and there is ring app options to other people in your home you can go for it. Else I would suggest to stick to the app instead of using this to get alerts.

I wanted to add a portable doirbell for my patio and the chime does this. Very easy to install and very portable.

This works great. I should have gotten the extender. Just pay a little more to get the extender.

Not really needed when you hardwire to existing doorbell, however great for a remote like back porch. Easy setup.

I purchased this as my home door bell stopped working. This doorbell was convenient to install and flexible as to where I wanted to plug it in.

If you have a Ring doorbell, you know that alerts to your smartphone can be kind of slow sometimes. I don't have a hard wired doorbell, and this makes my Ring doorbell that much more like a real doorbell. With that said, it works well enough, though some of the pre-programmed doorbell sounds are pretty quiet, even at full volume. The speaker is definitely not "high fidelity", so the sound is pretty rough. It's defnitely better than nothing, and good enough for what it's for. Without this, my Ring doorbell would have to go, as I can't always count on the mobile apps to consistently notify me.

It's very easy to install and the ring chime just perfect for my house.
