Need this for ring
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost didn't buy this because the ring goes through your phone but everybody actually needs a doorbell so that you can hear it in the house. Often you don't have your phone next to you when you're in the house. I like this doorbell it is not too loud. Also it makes a different sound than what comes out of your phone. I think that if you are going to buy a ring doorbell, which I highly recommend, you should consider buying this with it. I have seen it in stores bundled together but I am not certain if Best Buy sells it that way.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is simple to set up and operate, all that is required is a wireless network and a RING doorbell (and a computer or smart phone). I used the RING app to set it up and everything worked fine the first try. It allows you to listen to what the ringtones are on your phone before setting the ringtone and has a volume adjustment. I also like that you can test it using your phone, so you know that it is working.
