Nice Sounding Chime
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After I got a working Ring Video Doorbell 2 (see my other review) it worked perfectly and the Chime connected to my network using the Ring App with no problems. It has a nice selection of tones that can be selected in the app, some are very pleasant and some are a little to annoying to my ear. You can set a tone for Motion Events and one for ring presses or you can set them both with the same tone if you like. You can also set the volume of the chime and you can set a schedule for the time you don't want motion events to disturb you.

Need this for ring
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost didn't buy this because the ring goes through your phone but everybody actually needs a doorbell so that you can hear it in the house. Often you don't have your phone next to you when you're in the house. I like this doorbell it is not too loud. Also it makes a different sound than what comes out of your phone. I think that if you are going to buy a ring doorbell, which I highly recommend, you should consider buying this with it. I have seen it in stores bundled together but I am not certain if Best Buy sells it that way.
