I used the RING app to set it up and everything worked fine the first try. It allows you to listen to what the ringtones are on your phone before setting the ringtone and has a volume adjustment. I also like that you can test it using your phone, so you know that it is working.

Simple and reliable

It is a big home and they wanted the chimes distributed throughout the home so they could hear the doorbell from anywhere. Installation and setup was super easy and you can even name each chime on the app according to location. You can even set a different volume level on each one and also a different tone if you want. Very reliable too!
