So along with my Ring Video Doorbell, this Ring Chime allows me to know when someone is at the door and also alerts me when there is motion. Sometimes its over kill with the phone goes off as well, but when the phone is on Silent i can still know something is going on.

A good add-on product, but not as loud as I hoped

It works, yes, and if you weren't using your wired doorbell, it is a good thing. Plus, they have a different version of this, with a built in WIFI extender, and would be worth getting instead, but is out of stock just about everywhere. So, good if you need a doorbell sound inside, but don't expect it to be as loud as a regular doorbell you have been hearing for years.
