I love my ring door bell but I don't like that after a month you have to pay a monthly service fee to save your videos. There are other devices that have the same quality and features as the name brand ring door bell, that don't charge a monthly fee.

Our chime and doorbell have a strong signal to our central WiFi, yet sometimes the chime doesn’t ring...but when it doesn’t, at least my phone rings. Sometimes my phone doesn’t ring...but the chime does. So I’d definitely recommend getting the chime if you already have the doorbell. Better to have a backup!

So, I got this for her to plug-in in the basement. Now, we can hear the doorbell easily while we are downstairs watching TV.
