Recently moved into a home that never had a pre-existing doorbell. I bought the wire-free/battery operated Ring doorbell and was just going to rely on the app for doorbell notifications until after further research found that Ring actually makes chimes that link to their doorbells! Like what?! Love this company! Anyway, pretty easy to set up and sync everything, the instructions and app walk you through pretty much everything. My only real concern was if I need a few more around the house because I didn't know how loud it would be. I'll say it surprised me, we have a sofa covering it since it's attached to an outlet that is behind the sofa and we can still hear it pretty well. Wouldn't say it's the loudest and granted the house is old and has thin walls, but we'll only need this one. Super happy with my purchase, would highly recommend if you're in a situation like mine!! On to something unrelated but I wanted to credit Best Buy for. I initially ordered this at my local Best Buy (store pickup) because they had one in stock, the store cancelled it, guess they couldn't find it, no problem. Also note, I wanted to place the order for store pickup because I wanted it in my hands ASAP so I could set it up with my doorbell. It was Christmas week and ship to home would have taken a week or two. I was planning to travel out of town later that week anyway so placed a new order for the Best Buy in the town I was headed to, they were able to secure the order. Couple days before my travels, I couldn't make the trip anymore so I was going to cancel the order and just wait for it to be in stock at my local store, buy it Amazon or ship to my house. On my way to cancel it, Best Buy asked why, I told them I couldn't get to the store so they offered to ship it for free! I took them up on it and got it in a couple days, couldn't be happier!! Thanks for making my life easier :)

I bought the Ring doorbell a few months before buying the chime. I don’t have an existing doorbell wired so the only way I could be notified of a person at my doorbell was via my phone, or my Alexa shows or Echos. I do not always have my phone nearby and I don’t have an echo in every area of my home so it made sense to buy a chime. Price is fair. Size is good, small enough to plug anywhere. The tones are fine, easy to change in the Ring app. Setup was simple and it works as promised. Nothing negative to say about it. It’s a doorbell chime and it functions as promised.

Chime was easy to set up basically plug and go. Loud enough to hear through the entire house.

I absolutely love it! The sound is crisp. Set up was easy. I had to charge it prior to use which took a while. It has various ring tones to pick from. It has a loud enough tone to hear from outside and anywhere in the home which is great when anyone walks up near the ring doorbell. Great price.

Somewhat of a novelty item in that our phones ring when our ring doorbell is pushed. I purchased to make sure no matter who is at our home they will know someone is at the door. Simple ten minute installation and setup. Easily heard, nice selection of rings.

I like the fact that it is very compact. Yet loud enough. It was very easy to set up. I am very happy with this product. it works off my front and back door ring doorbell.

Simple set up, loud and works with my existing Ring Doorbell 2. Simple way to hear when someone is at the door and it can be moved to the backyard when we are having cookouts.

It works well with the other device that I have. the app makes it easy to work the chime. There's a lot of options to chose, and loud enough for the small place I have. (1 bed broom apartment)

We have it attached to two different ring doorbells and we get alerts from both. It does exactly what it says it will do and it was incredibly easy to set up! I gave it five stars but I will say I couldn’t get the novelty alerts (ie. Halloween noises) to stay engaged. The chime kept reverting to the pre-programmed sound. It’s loud enough to hear throughout the house and the volume is adjustable. The chime is the same for both doorbells. While it would be nice to be able to play different sounds for each doorbell, I wouldn’t expect it at this price point. All in all, it’s a great product!

We bought one of these to enhance our ability to make sure we heard whoever was at our door and it works great. We love it!

This lets me know that someone is at the door!! It works great with the ring. I set it on barking dogs and people think we have big dogs! Love it!!

Couldn't be easier to hook up and connect to ring doorbell. Compact and small and not noticable at all but nice loud sound.
