I bought this having previously relied solely upon my phone for the Ring doorbell, but I found myself having to text my wife that someone was at the front door if I weren't home and she was. (She doesn't want the app on her phone.) So obviously having a chime in the house became a necessity. This chime is 3 inches long, 2.5 inches wide and 1 1/8 deep. The prongs are situated so you can plug it in and still have the other outlet available. It has a blue illuminated circle to indicate it is on but that can be disabled. When all is said and done it is just a doorbell that needs to be plugged into an outlet. It rings when someone pushes the doorbell. There you go. It can also be set to ring with motion detection, but my Ring doorbell, in spite of reducing the scope of motion detection, goes off all the time with cars going by (the steps to my front door end up on the public sidewalk so the doorbell is triggered by people walking by and cars on the street) and that is annoying enough on my phone. I don't need that annoyance in my house as well.

Added Ring Chime to my new upgraded Ring2 doorbell. So loud you can hear your doorbell ring from anywhere in the home. Can choose many different chimes. A must add on to the Ring doorbell.

Very good chime and wifi extender for the ring doorbell. Would buy one again if it goes bad which i doubt because the quality is excellent. Easy to set up. Support is very good. They walk you thru setup very fast.

Love the new chime. It’s easy to set up and it has different sounds it can make. You can choose from many ring tones. I got rid of my old wired chime and I use this product.

Great addition to have for your ring doorbell. With its numerous options, you can set the alert to detect motion and when someone ring your door bell. Numerous features for ring tone sounds also.

Great addition to the Ring! Small, mobile and loud enough to hear from the majority of the house. I like that you can change the volume and tone! The price is right and the quality is great .

Pros - Super easy to install - Volume was loud. - It has a bright blue light on it that I might cover with a sticker. - It does not cover both outlets. Cons - NA

This is a great device if you are doing a non wired install. Just plug, link to your set up and go. Can hear this chime throughout my house. Highly recommended if not using your wired doorbell chime box

I like the new styling of this current model and it works just as well as the old ones. You definitely need more than one unit in large homes that don’t have existing doorbells.

Easy setup using Ring ap on phone. Variable ring volume helps hearing it easier. You can even use more than 1 in the house for better coverage. Good price too!

Had a semi-reliable connection to my Ring Doorbell till I installed this chime. After installation my connection was much more reliable and now of course I had a remote sound chime upstairs in my hallway.

I like the convenience of the ring chime. I plug it in at the other end of the house so you can hear when someone's at the door. It works well with the app so far. Nice range of ring tones.

We love it! Ring Chime is great with the Ring door bell, we think we will buy some other Ring items for our house as we are impressed by the ease of use and quality they are offering!

Don’t have a doorbell so when someone hit the ring it would just go to my phone someone in the house wouldn’t know so it was nice to get this extra part that rings in the house so everyone can hear it you even get to pick the kind of ring you want

Great product, you can place it anywhere where you dont hear the doorbell (since its wireless) i mean anywhere. Easy to connect and its been ovwr a year and its working great.

This little things great. My kids love the seasonal tones. Never had any disconnect issues or anything. No complaints, literally plug and play with a little bit of wifi connecting.

We bought this for my Mother that his hearing impaired. It works great. You can hear it throughout the house. Just plug it in!

Love this chime! You can hook up multiple ring doorbells to this and can programs each with different sounds as well as volume.

Bought it to link up with our Alexa and other Ring products. Super simple to setup. Has good sound to it and the night light is great since it's downstairs.

Ain’t much to it, just plug it into the wall and follow the directions on the ring app, you also have a variety of tones to choose from so that’s pretty cool
