My wife wanted this for Christmas so naturally I bought it. I never thought much of any of these fitness games, but we both have been nothing but impressed by Ring Fit. We both have been using it for the last week regularly and it...packs a punch. We each sometimes take a day off due to soreness. The game absolutely can provide a legitimate work out. The Ring is fantastic in being both durable, easy to use, and offers a fair amount of resistance (my personal workouts are mostly weight lifting and could bench press 225lb+). I max out on the strength rating on the ring, but at no time do I feel like the ring will break, and the in-game adventure workouts are enough to make my arms tired. My legs and ab areas have been straight up sore after a couple of workouts. The game also offers side games and regular workouts arranged by muscle group, so playing the adventure isn't necessary if your looking for a quick workout. Like I said, I'm thoroughly impressed with the game and its effectiveness. I would absolutely recommend Ring Fit Adventure to someone looking for a game based way of working out at home.

I'm going on 7 days with this game, and I can honestly say that Ring Fit Adventure is one of the most legit workout video games I've ever played! I was initially worried it'd be like other games that promises the idea of getting fit, but doesn't do enough to keep you invested. But Ring Fit Adventure does everything right. The Adventure Mode (the main draw of the game) keeps things interesting by having you go through an RPG adventure while using fitness related activities to get through the journey. In the main stages, you're jogging in place to move your character down a track, while squeezing and pulling the Ring-Con to pull off various moves. Then, when you run into enemies, you do true-to-life exercises to defeat them (squats, planks, knee lifts, yoga poses, etc.). It's so engaging (and so hard to cheat) that I'm sweating by the end of a stage! And if you're not in the mood for that, there's both mini-games to keep things fun, and a way to set your own workout sessions, if there's any body parts you'd like to target. I don't think this game will 100% replace exercise elsewhere, but it's a great starting point for anyone looking to get into working out. It's also a nice supplement for those already on track with working out.

If you want to try and keep your kid from gaining weight during this global oandemic give the ring fit a whirl. It’s fun, very easy to figure out as most Nintendo products are for kids. Adults can do it too and it will give you more or less of an exercise depending on your needs. You’ll feel it the next day too!

While I'm not the biggest fan of the "campaign" section, this is a great game for exercising and working up a sweat. Be warned: do it consistently or else it's really hard to jump back in.

Nintendo continues to show it's innovation through active gaming. The Ring Fit itself is a great piece of kit that's well designed and gives you a fantastic workout! It also helps that the actual game itself is both fun and worth playing. It's rpg mechanics work great with exercise moves that are both fun and a true work out! Highly Recommended!!

I really like the blending of exercise into an actual game rather than a fitness game only. Where you just repeat things someone does on screen. The ringfit and holster seem well made and like the should hold up for a while. Only thing I see as a bit of a downside is a two player aspect would be cool, maybe they will add it in, in the future.

Nintendo has done the impossible and gamified physical fitness in a way that actual does the exercise part while also maintaining the fun game that you actually want to keep playing part. You will actually get a workout from playing Ring Fit, and it might be what you need if you can't get out of the house often. (Written April 2020)
