I love this game so much! I'm 24 and yes this game is a bit childish the story line is cheesy but I do actual learn some exercises while playing an actual game rather than just workout. It doesn't have a play with friends option which is the only downside . It has mini games, the adventure course, what I'm assuming is like DDR but with ring fit. Fun exercises all around for both kids and adults. It has modes that you can just workout in and not have to play the game or mini games. It's pricey since you have to buy the equipment but it has a lot to offer in terms of use. I would say the price is worth it since it comes with a ton of workout stuff. Its easy to play kid or adult it walks you through everything. 10/10 recommend. If you have hyper kids this would be great for them.

I am a pretty lazy and inactive person. I've dabbled with working out in the past, but I've always stopped due to my injuries or just out of getting out of the habit. This game however, is literally a game changer. I have never had so much fun running in place and doing squats as I have playing this game. The running areas are colorful and vibrant, and the RPG aspect as well as the endorphins from excercise keep you coming back for more. Set up is fairly simple and easy (once you actually get this game, which I know is difficult right now). The game explains things in a very easy to understand manner, and the leg strap and ring-con will let you know how well your form is while performing exercise moves. Make sure to be honest with yourself and the game, and listen to your body though. The first day I pushed myself to fight the first boss, even though my body was telling me I was tired, and I ended up getting very nauseous after my session. However, the next couple of days I stopped when my body told me it was ready, and I've gotten far better results and enjoyment out of the game. I now wake up every day waiting to finish work so I can start playing Ring Fit Adventure. Very great for anyone who doesn't or very rarely excercises, and can be a fun supplement for those who already have a workout routine. If you have a hardwood or tile floor, I would also recommend getting a cheap yoga mat, as it will help lessen the impact on your feet from the constant running and excercise moves. I've also invested in some protein powder, as I find I recover faster and less sore when I drink a protein shake after playing. If you happen to be a woman who is "well endowed", a supportive sports bra is highly recommended as well, as there are exercises and motions in the game that can prove more difficult or cause back pain if you don't have enough support. If you have disabilities or injuries, such as back problems, knee issues, etc, there are options that either alter the excercises for those regions, or let you press buttons to help you bypass the affected area. I have not played around with all the options though, so I am unsure of the extent of this feature, only aware that it exists. The story can be corny (my girlfriend definitely was giving me a raised eyebrow at first like "this is the game you've been so excited for and trying to get for the past 4 months? She has since seen the value in it and why I wanted it.), but as you play, there's a lot of humorous dialog, and each of the characters are full of personality and character. Would definitely recommend to anyone. If anyone needs more information, there's a sub reddit full of friendly and informative people, and there is a YouTube Ring Fit Adventure review by the user Specs that is very well thought out and by far the best review I've seen. The reviewer does note some complaints from the game, but most of the issues he mentioned were resolved in a recent update, which added new modes and features. Hope this helps anyone who is interested.
TL;DR: The game is fun and you should totally buy it if you see it in stock. Don't give in to scalpers though. You will eventually get to buy it normally.

There is a reason this game has gone crazy since its release. If you hate working out or even the very thought of spending time in a gym is never on your radar, but you do want to get in shape, look no further. I purchased this for my kiddos when it released and after watching them get highly involved, I finally jumped in. After feeling like death was going to take my life, I realized I needed to get in shape. Corporate world of never moving throughout the day does take its toll on you. The best part about this is that I don't feel like im working out. Rather, I feel like I'm playing a game with my kids. That makes the whole vibe so much more appealing for me. I will definitely be making this part of my weekly routine going forward. Give it a shot, you may just love it.

Comparing this to wii fit is like comparing Atari to xbox. There is no comparison. This is fun, challenging, and really provides a sweat. I am a man of moderate fitness and I found myself lowering the boastful extreme difficulty I started with. Answer all the questions honestly when you start, unlike I did, and you may still find yourself lowering the difficulty. This is worth every penny and every invested minute.
This gets my highest possible recommendation. If I were to be fair and give it some criticism, I would say the leg strap has a tendency to slide over time and I've had the best success putting it on my bare leg while wearing shorts.

This game really works your arms. It is a much better workout that wii Fit. It is also a lot of fun. I do wish that there were options for playing with a friend. However, even without that, I would definitely purchase it again.

wonder if the team developing this game also worked on Legend of Zelda before or at least wanted to work on a Legend of Zelda game. At times, it looked and sounded like a Legend of Zelda game. It looked like a Legend of Zelda game with the cel-shading. The soundtrack sounded like it could come from a Legend of Zelda game. Perhaps Nintendo decided to make its new game look and sound like one of old franchises to create a new fanbase out of its old one. Whoever says that Ring Fit Adventure is not a real RPG is an ignorant fool. It has everything expected for an RPG. Your character gains experience points and levels up. Every time your character levels up, the character gains attack points, experience points, and, later on in the game, skill points. Those skill points can be used to unlock extra skills on a skill tree. Players can learn new exercises/attacks, and the skill tree can unlock more slots for exercises/attacks. After world 2, enemies have weaknesses to certain exercises/attacks based on their color. Players can use ingredients collected from levels to create smoothies, which restore health and give stat boosts it battle. If players have not collected enough ingredients in levels, they can buy some for the town's general store. Also at the general store, players can buy outfits that boost stats. Heck, there's even side quests that unlock clothing, smoothies, smoothie recipes, or just extra money. Everything I mentioned are all elements of RPGs, and they can be found in Ring Fit Adventure. I don't know what the RPG fanboys were expecting to get a more "fleshed out" RPG. A complicatedly connected fetch quest? The ability to roam freely upon each world to interact with every NPC? Heck, I don't think they can't criticize Ring Fit Adventure as being too short for a RPG. Yes, it was only 8 or 9 worlds, I would consider it a watered-down RPG, but not 23 worlds. The only complaint I would have about the gameplay is that it sometimes felt repetitive. It felt liked I played the same enemies and same bosses. Playing enough days consecutively, I even noticed some of the levels had the same layout. At the same time, however, I enjoyed the creativity of learning the best strategy to take out these same monsters. Outside that complaint, as a personal complaint, I thought the attack animations were weird. I get they were to show what muscle the player was working out, but I think the color coded would have sufficed. Did I really need to see a foot stretch for leg attacks and a flabby gut turn into six-pack abs to attack the foe? Again, I would have preferred if the ring shot color-coded energy beams instead. Maybe use those animations for a few selected attacks, like the range attacks. Also, just like many other reviewers have criticized, it's weird that the ring can talk, but Drageux cannot. This doesn't mean I don't want the Ring to talk. In fact, I love the ring talking. He reminds me of Goku with his happy-go-lucky personality. I just wish they would have voiced Drageux.
Overall, Ring Fit Adventure is a good lesson in motivation. I can appreciate Ring Fit Adventure more that other fitness video games, which feel more like apps because they just tell the player to do a certain exercise for a certain amount of reps and that's it. It's only a step above those exercise videos. I've played those games before, and after a few days or weeks of playing, I quit because they no longer interest me. This game I keep coming back to because I can see myself progress with how easily I can defeat monsters and I can see the rest of the story unfold. If they made a sequel or another game using the Ring Fit Adventure ring, I would definitely consider purchasing it.

Sure, it says its a game, but if you push the difficulty and do an hour of this baby. You will be massively sore the next day. I guarantee you will work every part of your body with Ring fit. If I had to say one bad about the game is that the leg strap can be finicky over shorts, so try to wear tight leggings or joggers. Oh, and I've lost 10 pounds just incorporating this routine 4 times a week.

I absolutely love the Ring Fit Adventure! I'm not a fitness guru or some athlete. I'm a normal woman who needed to lose weight. I bought the Ring Fit in July of 2021. I was almost 240 pounds and walking was getting difficult to do. I was breathing heavy and was not happy how I looked in clothes. I knew I needed to work out and this video game seemed to be a good option. When I started this, it beat my butt! It's now been eight months and I have lost 38 pounds. I can now walk and breathe better. I'm happy with how I look in clothes. I have watched what I eat and the Ring Fit is my go-to when it comes to fitness. Their are a variety of exercises that target the arms, stomach, legs, and whole body. These workouts are intense and by the end of a workout I'm sweating like a pig. You can adjust your level if it's too difficult or easy. I love Tipp in the game because he does warm ups and cooldown. He is also the one to check in on the difficulty level and gives general fitness and nutrition information. It has a good storyline and definitely keeps me engaged. Thank you Nintendo for making this game. It has literally changed my life for the better!

I was hoping this would encourage my son to exercise. We've tried many exercise games over the years and each was unsuccessful, lasting only a couple days and, without a story, couldn't retain his interest. This one seems to be different. He's been playing it for almost a month now and consistently goes back to it on his own. The game mechanics are intuitive and do take their physical toll. He's lost 6 pounds and looks forward to playing each day. He even had me play it once and I am eager to play it again. I would definitely encourage it to every other parent trying to find a way to get their child to exercise.

I was curious about Ring Fit since it was announced but it took me a bit to take the plunge. Now, I’m really glad I did and wish I would have got in sooner.
The game itself is pretty fun. Nothing too groundbreaking but the adventure and mini games will keep you entertained.
The real attraction though is the integration of exercise and use of the ring con. It’s super easy to understand and do and it gets you active straight away. You can keep it and just getting active or go to the level of a legit workout if you want.
I’m very happy with the game and I’m planning on adding it to my regular exercise routine.

OK let me start off by saying I hate working out. I decided since I like video games to try and get my butt off the couch. I was addicted from the first day! I end up working out for over an hour every day because I'm having so much fun AND I'm sweating and out of breath! The workout is real ya all! The measurements of my heart rate with the control match what my fitbit is saying. I can't say enough about how much I love this game, it's hard and challenging but you're so involved you aren't aware of how much you are doing. Totally recommend!

After being sold out everywhere for months on end, I was finally excited to get my hands on a copy of this game. Ever since the pandemic, & now the wildfires restricting access to outdoors, this game provided an excellent & engaging way to get moving & exercise. It provides options for every level, & even has mini-games/activities for when you don't want to do the main campaign. Even so, each level within the game is ~5-10 min, which is equivalent to short bursts of sets where it gives you a moment to rest/grab some water. This game makes you SWEAT, & I love it!!

I was skeptical after reading some reviews that this game might not be challenging, but it really is!
I’ve just been playing for three days so far, but it’s already made me sweat and gotten my heart rate up each session. This game is so much fun, it really makes exercise exciting and engaging and I look forward to picking it up each day even after a long day of work.
I might update after a longer time playing, but so far I’m very happy with this purchase and I love the game. I’ll keep playing regularly and I really think it will get me in shape over time!

It was my wife who want to exercise and want me to bought this. I was skeptical about how good it is and find out it is really a good game to play!
Unlike some exercise game on Xbox Kinetic, the game is not only for exercise but it is also for fun. The use of the ring is the spirit of the game, you can interact with various kinds of action or monsters and scenes, which is kind of immersive experience to play.
Lots of my friends like it really much, and can’t stop to play. I would definitely recommend this to all people!
