I'm no newbie when it comes to Ring products. At present I have two Ring Pro Doorbells, two Ring Floodlight Cameras (this review) and the Ring Security System. All Ring products work flawlessly together and are accessed through the same app. I could drone on about the quality of the picture, night vision, sensitivity, ability to speak through the unit, remotely activate the built-in siren, etc... but at this point you've probably read that in other reviews. One of the best things about Ring products is their ability to use IFTTT. The IFTTT app lets you do amazing things - for example, I can set my WEMO devices/light switches to turn on when my Ring camera detects motion during a certain period (e.g. At night, when I'm away, when the security system is armed, etc.). If you've read that the camera cannot be mounted on an eave / under a gutter - that information is wrong. I have mine mounted under the gutter (and upside down according to the instructions) and the video automatically displays "right side up" in the app. Bottom line - This is a very high quality product, which the price premium reflects - but worth every penny. You can tailor the unit for any of your needs and make it as active or passive as you'd like. I'd give it 6/5 if I could.

This was a perfect complement to our already installed ring doorbell‘s. It was easy to mount, the recorded images are clear and sharp. Love the fact that it’s hardwired. Easy to monitor from the ring app on your mobile phone. The cameras and lights cover a wide area and are easily adjusted for motion alerts. I’m going to buy a second one for the backyard!

Purchased to replace existing floodlight and increase security. A little brighter. Notifications can be annoying but turned off during times when not needed. Overall performs as advertised and expected.

The installation kit had everything I needed including tools so I didn't have to use my toolbox, hardware kit or run back and forth to The setup was also extremely easy. I got connected and up and running in less than 5 minutes after installation. The key however is a reliable internet service. I really like the custom configuaration. I can set sensitivities, detection zones and motion schedules very easily.

This works great. The lights are nice and bright and the camera is very clear. Love the motion detector.

This is an Excellent Security Device. The picture is very clear day or night. The motion detection is another Amazing feature. I purchased this for my home and was sooooo impressed I purchased another for my back yard The coverage is phenomenal and you can position it to your viewing desire. I like the product so much I even purchased another as a house warming gift.

I bought this Ring floodlight cam as security for the front of our house. After hard wiring it in, adjusted the motion zone and sensitivity. We get no false hits from cars going by but wind movement is a bit of an issue. Tree branches, flower stalks, etc. move in the wind and trigger the motion detector. Other than that, this unit works well, is easy to pair with your phone and store/retrieve videos. I highly recommend.

Best thing we’ve purchased this year. I can now see everything that goes on outside my home day or night. The sensors are custom so youre able to set them to the area you want and how sensitive you want them. The app is very easy to use and connects you to ring users around your area to keep alert on anything that goes on in your neighborhood.

Love this product, it has helped me catch thieves and see what's going on when I am not home. Also great if you wan to talk to someone or get someone off your property! Super easy to use as well!

Gives excellent notice to movement in our back yard. Had to set it on "people only" to avoid neighborhood cats from setting motion sensor off. Excellent light and security, we feel much safer.

I have owned the Ring Doorbell for some time now and chose to add the Ring Floodlight Cam to the back of my home. The setup was quite simple and the quality of the picture is really amazing.

We needed a security light in our backyard and went with the Ring Floodlight Cam since we had already purchased a Ring Doorbell. It's amazing how the two items, working together, can give you better piece of mind about security at your home. The picture is very good, the floodlight is bright enough to light up the yard and the audio is very good. Plus, it was on sale at Best Buy so we saved some money.

The unit is easy to install (I replaced a floodlight) on a wired location. It takes some time to tweak the settings to get the right sensitivity level but all in all it works as advertised.

Good camera, great light. As far as security light/camera combos go, we have definitely liked this unit. The App is easy to use, allows for modified active fields and if you get the service (which we did and linked it with our front ring doorbell) will save recordings for you to view later.

We installed this in our front driveway area by hard-wiring where we had a light fixture over the garage. It really works great day or night. The field of vision and video quality is really great. Lights come on at night if anyone approaches, and it films any movement in the area day or night.

This item was very easy to install. The flood lights are very bright making an area previously very dark and having an unsafe feeling to a very well lit area when motion detected. The motion sensor works very well and at night when motion is sensed the floodlights activate which provides a very clear video of what is happening in our back garage driveway.

This is a pretty decent camera for the money. Picture quality is good. You do need a good to strong WiFi signal to maintain the quality. The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is a difficulty in achieving a proper angle for the motion sensor when mounting the unit on a horizontal surface.
