    Excellent pictures. Theoretically it cannot be mounted on a horizontal surface, I did exactly that and it works with a somewhat limited field of view.

    It was installed by an electrician. It works. I also got the chime extender from ring to increase the wifi signal to the device. The problem remains with too much lag between when motion is detected and being able to get a live signal. I wish it were closer to real time. The device has potential and maybe there will be a firmware upgrade to reduce ragtime. Night vision view is nice. Being able to see in the dark without turning on light is cool.
