Great camera, with crisp, clear picture and sound. Easy to set up and easy to use. We bought one for ourselves, and we then bought one for my in-laws. It's comforting knowing we have some sort of security over both homes.

I picked this camera because I have the ring in my house and it works great it’s hard wire out my front and at night it has like infrared so you can see everything at night and the light clips on if someone goes by it it’s very clear picture and I love it .

It's exactly what I needed. It was very easy to install. I also own the Ring 2 Doorbell but it's not wired. However I'm going to switch it to wired. Because the benefits are greater. You miss a lot with using just the battery.

Purchase it for my back yard. The scoop is extremely wide. I can see 4 yards over in to neighboring yards. The light is super bright and shines in to. The next door yards. Quality depends on strength if WiFi, or wired connection

The floodlight cam from Ring is awesome! The brightness of the floodlight, the image is clear, the sensitivity range is huge. The software, as usual, is great! Lots of options you can choose from in the app, it just works.

This is an excellent dual purpose light/camera. It was very easy to install. We are very happy with the brightness of the lights. It was very easy to connect to our Wifi network, and the Ring app is very slick. Recomended!

I purchased one of these as we already have a pro doorbell by ring that we like. Unfortunately ring opt'd to drop the 5ghz support for this camera which really impacts it's performance. Ring states this was done as 2.4ghz can reach further thru walls and a better chance to get to this unit outside. Unfortunately this also means major interference with the already overloaded 2.4ghz network. Most of us 'true' wifi/network geeks have fully saturated wifi in our homes that can easily penetrate to the outside. Instead Ring runs you thru a gamut of senseless troubleshooting when you get the inevitable 'poor quality image'. The image produced by this camera is nowhere near 1080p. There is a setting in the camera (that only RING can change) which bounces the camera between 1080, 720 and lower resolution based on the WiFi signal strength. The issue here is the camera incorrectly does this and even having RING force the camera to 1080p doesn't improve the situation. I have been in the IT field for almost 20 years. I am constantly being pushed for the latest fastest wifi for installations. For my house I setup multiple Unifi Ubiquity Access Points and some other backend hardware. RING immediately tried to blame my equipment as they 'assumed' it was a mesh network. Unfortunately for them all of my Access Points are ether net back hauled (hardwired). With Ubiquity's controller I can see the RING devices and their connection speeds. At the initial install I had a Ubiquity AC-Lite unit sitting 8' away with just the exterior wall between it and the floodlight. I had my 5ghz radio on a separate SSID than the 2.4ghz and even renamed the 2.4ghz at that access point to a separate SSID so I knew that the floodlight would not try to connect to another access point in my system. With that setup the floodlight was connecting at over 144Mbps to the access point with a very good RSSI (almost 99% signal quality). Speed tests with my I pad pro being held right at the floodlight, connected to that same 2.4ghz SSID maxed out my 60Mbps down x 6Mbps upload. The diagnostics in the Floodlight always showed good connection and low RSSI. Ring acknowledged the connection appears to be good and it should be showing better video than this pixilated /blocky appearance. They tried forcing to 1080p and having me try a restart to no avail. I forgot to mention that the current RING app from the apple store also has broken live view on new Apple I pad pro. They are aware and have said for weeks they are fixing. Disappointment, still like the idea if they can fix this.

Put this in the back yard between the garage (we have a separate structure) and the house. It works exactly as advertised, is bright and comes on with significant movement (not just a little wind blowing in the trees).

With home security in mind, the Ring Floodlight provides both security and practicality. The camera function records activity and the floodlight not only aides the camera but provides light for the area when needed.

Easy install and super easy to program. Everything you need is included if your house is pre wires for power where the install goes. If it isn’t it takes a few extra steps, but well worth it. Its made a big difference to out home.

I was hesitant to spend this much money on a camera but after I hooked it up, I’m happy I did. Crystal clear picture, very nice night vision and sensitive enough to catch all the action. Looking to get one for the back yard now.

This is the best money I think I have ever spent! It is beyond easy to install & setup! The directions are so clear and easy to follow. The video quality is far beyond what I expected. The yearly fee is minimal too. Will definitely be adding more cameras!

Easy to install and hook up to wifi. I love that you can set it for motion just people. My tree set off the light all the time of my security light. I could set this to not include the tree branch. I've had it for month and so far it's great.

Provides security and peace of mind for a good price. Installation was easy, I replaced an existing outdoor light with the Ring floodlight and it was very easy and straightforward. I notice that the light triggers a lot but the camera is not recording so I'll have to pull the app up quick and switch on the live feed to see what triggered the light. It also has difficulty detecting all motion at night. We have had racoons, foxes, rabbits, and cats all run through the zone and not trigger the light/camera at night, but then other times they do trigger it at night. So it's kind of hit or miss with smaller objects in motion at night. Otherwise, this thing is pretty solid. It has survived Minnesota winter.
