So I bought this a few months back, but it works great clear picture and it knows not to turn the light on during day awesome and easy to install.

I just started installing Ring devices in my house. The first was the Doorbell 2, which is great. I picked up the Floodlight cam for my street facing garage. Let me tell you, so much goes on when you're not at home. You're able to two-way talk, turn on the lights, turn on a siren, and live feed any time you want. During the day, the feed is crystal clear. During the night, it's clear, but not like during the day. Even then, night time video looks great. I also like that when motion is detected on the floodlight cam, it send signal to the doorbell to start recording right away.

Although it is expensive, it works great. The hardest part was removing the old light it replaced. The light is very bright and the motion detection works excellent.

Bought as a special/bundle. Replaced an existing motion detecting flood. Able to install without much hassle. Seems to work much more reliably than the doorbell that was part of the deal. Decent picture on the live view. Seems to be fairly adequate lighting from the floods.

Works great, love how you can go back see everything that has recorded. The HD camera shows you everything very well. Adding more cameras. High recommend.

The RING security camera is a great product: 1. Easy to set up and connect to my network, 2. The RING app is extremely simple 3. Camera performance in the dark is great

I love the floodlight cam as it completes my security system for my house. I ended up going with the spotlight cam for my front door bc I like how the spotlight comes on when there's motion, and people know they are being recorded. Now I have the floodlight cam above my garage and not only does it cover the entire front of my house, but our whole cul de sac. Gotta keep the honest people honest, and I think with all of my exterior camera's we're completely covered...plus I like how ring's system is connected to a community to keep honest people honest everywhere.

This camera catches everything I want it to. Even when the motion sensor is set to people only, it catches some sway from medium size bushes. Overall a good view with a clear picture even at night. I’d recommend it to my friends, which I already have. I’m glad I bought it.

Keeps the bad guys away and lets them know that you have eyes watching them. i love this ring product and would highly recommend it.

Easy to setup, can be viewed from multiple phones and the light is BRIGHT. My only complaints are that it picks up motion from everything, such as a flag on the front porch and that it sometimes takes a second for the chime to go off whenever someone is coming to the door

Bought for my husband for Christmas. He loves its! was very quick and easy to set up and the camera has amazing picture. Very wide range, can almost show our WHOLE yard.

I've had my eye on one of these for a while, and after I redid some painting on my home's exterior, I decided to replace the effectively useless patio light with the Ring Floodlight cam. Not only does it provide better lighting of the patio area, I was able to complete camera coverage around my home. The choice to purchase this was largely because I am already heavily invested in the Ring ecosystem. Between the Doorbell, and three spotlight cams I have, this was a no-brainer. For $10 a month I get cloud video storage, extended warranty on all devices, theft protection, and full service monitoring on my alarm. It's the absolute best deal in the industry and especially if you're paying for alarm monitoring on another system, you'll probably save the cost of switching alarm systems within a year. The good: This camera provides the same quality video that I get out of my other spotlight cams. Essentially, it's the same thing - only mounted in the floodlight housing. Mounting instructions are on point. They even give you this neat hook thing to support the camera while you do your wiring. Ring is top notch when it comes to making mounting as easy as possible. Flood Lights: Nice and bright and can illuminate a much larger area than I would have expected. Overall quality: The overall quality of the device seems good. Less plastic than I would have imagined. The not-so-good: The most annoying feature of this camera is the motion detection at night. We have this pointing at our patio, and if we are sitting out on the patio, the camera is constantly turning the floodlights on and off. There's no setting in the app that I can find that simply says "Ignore all motion and don't turn on the lights for the next two hours or so.". Fortunately, I have this hooked to the circuit that the old patio light was on, so I can simply flip the switch and it's off. I do have to remember to turn it on when I go back inside for the night. My solution for this is to replace the patio light switch with a Kasa switch that I can control remotely, and have turn back on at a certain time every night to ensure we have coverage. Camera quality. The video quality that comes out of the Ring is pretty lackluster. I mean, you'll see somebody doing something on your property, but unless they're up close and personal with the camera, it's highly likely you won't have enough detail to get an accurate facial description or capture a license plate though. Mounting - This has to be mounted on a j-box. My old patio light was simply mounted to the exterior wood. I had to go get a weather proof junction box, fasten that to the trim, and then get the camera mounted to that. Not a huge concern, but for those who are less handy it may be a deal breaker - or at least cost them a visit from their electrician. Overall though, I rate this fairly high because the product works as advertised and the Ring ecosystem is so strong as well as provides a great value. Time will tell how long this lasts, but I suspect within a year or so we're going to start seeing Ring 4K stuff which will solve some of the issues with resolution and getting better detail from faces / license plates.

Bought this to go above my garage. Provides great video and security. Goes well with my ring doorbell camera and received it at a good price.

Easy to install and adjust the zone the camera needs to alert on. Picks up my stray cat on her nightly hunting expedition. Love it and highly recommend it.

These are great security cameras with floodlights integrated into the package. Works perfectly and provides a good bit of light.

I first bought this camera for our prior house, where the floodlight above our garage wasn't working consistently. This solved both the problem of the light as well as monitoring the driveway. We moved to a new house and were able to easily move this device, again being quite helpful. It's a nice way to get a wide view and not have to worry about power. It's easy to install, although you likely need a ladder. It's most screwing a couple of things and wrapping wires together. The hardest part is holding all the parts up high!

Installed due to recent robberies in my neighborhood. Very easy to install. Replaced an old motion sensor. Picture is great. Time laps is great.

Love that i now have a front view of my home. Motion alerts my Echo Show and I can have a live view of what's happening. Lights are bright.
