Camera works great, easy set up and truly worth the money.

I bought this to replace a cheaper motion floodlight that had failed, and I am glad I did. So far, it has been great as a motion light and I am enjoying the added security of having a camera as well. As it is mounted on my garage, pointing at the drive and side door, it does not get great images of people's faces. It suits my needs and I hope it proves to be durable. The night vision images are impressive and I like that there is a separate motion sensor for lighting and camera.

I purchased this to install on my detached garage which looks on the back of my house and driveway. Pros - video quality is great - light color (kelvin) is not too high - app is high quality and integrates well with other ring products - good range on lens Cons - there is a noteicable lag between receiving a notification and opening the live stream video on the app Missing features that would be nice to have - ability to dim the LED lights (they are very bright and my lights over flow into my neighbors backyard)

Works great. I like ability to create my motion zones so it’s not picking up my neighbor. There’s a slight delay in the alarm but nothing crazy

I had an electrician at my house doing some general small jobs so had do the install. I already had the phone app installed as I previously installed Ring doorbell. Using the existing phone Ring app the device went active very smoothly and instantly went active on the phone and computer app.

Application makes monitoring the home very easy. We installed three around the house and really appreciate, especially when we have to be out at night, the devices' ability to light the way. Did require setup as we're not electricians, but if you have one on hand, it'll be a breeze to set up.

Another excellent Ring product. Works great with app. Gives off plenty of light. Just wish it was more a cooler temp LED white instead of that warm yellowish light. I figured Ring probably saw a difference and went for that color intentionally. Other than that this checks all the boxes.

The best light and security camera on the market. It gives great clear video and sound quality. I got the basic subscription which is $3 a month and I love it. There’s also a free subscription if you don’t like to pay for the extra features. I definitely will get more in the future.

I bought this during a promotion w/ an included Echo dot, expecting pretty tight Alexa integration. There is some, but not the basic stuff you would expect, and contacting Ring suggests no interest in correcting these issues (there is a reddit thread about the fact one can't ask Alexa to turn the lights on and off from 3yo IIRC in which a Ring representative suggested upcoming improvements that have not occurred). You can: Ask your FireTV remote to "show the back yard" and see the video feed on that device. You can't: Ask the Alexa app on your phone/tablet to show the back yard on the fire tv. Ask alexa to turn on/off the lights (as it the Alexa skills seem to be oriented around this one being a camera vs. a light - I think the lights w/o cams might not have this issue). Ask Alexa to change the mode. The good news is this is a software issue that Ring could correct, but there isn't any indication that they ever will. The instructions want you to mount this on a wall, but I was able to mount it on an eve by loosening the lights sufficiently and rotating them, albeit a bit fiddly to do that. The setup was kind of cool apart from these quirks once it was installed. The thing talks to you and has lights that flash to indicate status and the companion app walks you through that process.

Great camera. What surprised me was how clear the image is. Even at night. I like being alerted when someone is at the door, or when a package arrives whether I’m at home or not. Nice that it has audio and speaker to talk to visitors. Flood lights and alarm are a plus. Highly recommend.

When there is any movement, even a squirrel or skunk, the lights go on at night and notify my watch and phone. I like that if anything is near my side or back door of my house or the sliding door to the garage the lights go on at night and my phone and watch are notified every time.

I love ring products haven’t found any other products better. I’ve tried them and they doesn’t work for me. Never had any problems with ring products ever. Lights perfect and video quality is awesome night and day

I have two of these motion detectors with cameras and they work well. Their lights are very bright and come on as soon as you get within the designated area. They are great to help guests safely leave the house after dark. The videos captured when there is motion is comforting even if it is only our dog.
