This is an excellent product with a great microphone, very loud speaker, great connectivity with even better picture quality but after just over a year, the camera quality has been reduced to this. My property is east facing, and the camera is partially covered. I now have to buy another because it is essentially useless now. Hoping I’m not the only one who has had this issue and it has been fixed as time has gone on.

This new version offers brighter lights and more vibrant output. Relatively easy to install as long as the base is in place. You can't go wrong with extra Best Buy protection since the Floodlight Cam is installed out door.

Easy to install and set up. My old standard floodlight wasnt responding to movement anymore so i decided on upgrading to a security floodlight and this has been a great addition to my other ring cameras. It gives a quality picture when i open my app and the sensor if very responsive lighting up my pathway at night.

This is a quality product It is made of good material, extremely easy to install, and the set directions are easy. The quality of the picture is excellent. What I have found difficult is adjusting the area of focusing that eliminates street traffic from the camera’s scope. Other adjustments work well.

Excellent floodlight. Easy to install and set up on Ring app was simple. Video quality is really good day and night time. Floodlight is bright at night and sensor picks up detection instantly to give you notification on the app. Can't go wrong with it. I m in for another one for side of my house.

The lights were much brighter than I expected. It was a nice surprise. These are very easy to install. The camera is more clear and covers a larger area than the Stick Up Cams.

This is a nice security camera. High quality video and excellent features. This version is $70 less and is only missing one feature that I could tell (some mapping thing). Didn’t care about that as I can see the activity clearly. Led lights are very bright and easy to access in app. Install is easy if replacing an existing motion sensing light. One thing that is odd is the camera is clearly designed to be installed on a wall. You can install in on horizontal surface (under eve) but you have to turn the lights to reorient them and when you do they look upside down because you can’t rotate them the right way. Not a big deal but is a design flaw. Setup was supposed to be easy but it wasn’t connecting to Wi-Fi and needed tech support help. Called the number- got an actual human and that fixed the problem quickly- less than 10 minutes on phone. App is user friendly and nice design. You can have a conversation with people in view of camera. Couple of annoying things in the app, but not major.

The 2021 Ring Floodlight Security Camera is an excellent product. The phone App is smart and intuitive. The camera captures movement and sound day and night. Camera includes speaker for sound and Mic for communication. Use the phone App to communicate. View the videos using the Phone App. The Security Camera is hard wired for power and uses WIFI for internet. This Security Camera has many features. Functionality includes setting motion zones on the App screen to trigger video capture and setting separate motion zones to trigger turning on the flood lights. Notifications sent to the phone. Turn on and off the lights remotely and manually using the App if desired. Turn on and off the siren remotely and manually using the App if desired.

My previous Ring Wired/plug in Floodlight camera started showing its age and half the IR lights went out and half the view was all in light red... Time for a new camera!! This particular set up is fantastic! I had to purchase the Plug-in adapter with 20ft cord to mount it to the previous location of my failed camera but well worth it! Now I have 2 ways to mount it when and if needed... The field of view is larger, 2000 lumens of adjustable light and the quality of Ring. Picture under IR looks so much clearer and almost as bright as when the light is on. Coverage is 100% improved and it was a breeze to set up using the Ring app. A new upgraded 2nd generation camera addition to our already Ring covered Home security setup integrates easily into the mesh of security "ringing" our home. I have had many home camera systems and by far Ring wins in my opinion and their security system is fantastic, but that's another review!!

Wow, why did it take me so long to purchase this. The installation was very simple and took me about ten minutes. I unscrewed met existing floodlight. Detached the wires. Screwed in the provided mounting plate and bracket from the Ring Floodlight materials. Hung the floodlight and screwed on the cover. It was very, very easy. The mobile app immediately connected with the floodlight, and away I went on my new Ring expedition of watching the comings and goings of the neighborhood. The video quality is awesome and the field of view and range for alerts is better than I had expected. I am going to purchase another for the back of my house. Highly Recommended.

Camera works great, video quality and motion detection is very effective. Would definitely recommend this product.

Fantastic product, Great security for any time, day, and night. The main highlight is that you can position the light pods individually for maximum lighting. The camera itself is still pretty good quality for a 1080p, but it is also based on your WIFI connection. Installation is easy for anyone. For better protection around the base, you can add weatherproof silicone around.

It was so easy to set up and the final clarity from this camera lets me know if anyone is approaching the house. I had a regular light fixture in my carport and I simply exchanged this for the ring floodlight camera. You need to check prior to using - if your wifi reaches the spot where the camera will be. Simply use your phone and stand where the camera will be and link to your wifi. I get notified when a physical person enters my carport - which is more often than I could have imagined!

This is a great camera floodlight! Unfortunately, I did return this item unopened, unused . I purchased this ring camera in the smaller outdoor ring camera and returned both because I was gifted one camera, and I already have many of these up around my home now. But at the time of purchase, I just didn’t know which one I would want and where I might want to put it for sure. what I have up in my house now is this exact camera purchase at a different time and it works great that was a year ago. I love the ring cameras!

They work really well. My only complaint is the motion sensor on the lights comes on for no apparent reason. Its mounted above a sliding glass door and I think its either the reflections or the inside that triggers it. But that's just the light motion sensor, the software motion detection of the camera is great and doesn't trigger falsely. I can deal with it. The quality is good and easy to install.

Have the ring doorbell and wanted to upgrade to one with the floodlight. This light is very bright and the pictures are very clear and at night very bright where you can see the person or whatever very cleary

Ordered online. These were ready upon our arrival at the store. Easy installation and excellent camera clarity.

Easy to install. Easy to connect to network. Lights are bright and with a good range. The camera in colour or night vision, is clear. Some movement pixelates. Zoom is good to until is max. For a secure system only one person responsible with passcode.

We got this flood cam and a stick up cam after someone tried to break in our building and they tried to steal gas from our vehicle's. Since then i get alerts that come straight to my phone. Ive had people pull in my driveway. I can talk through the cam and send them on there way. The vision is excellent even the night vision. My father bought another brandname that cost him 3 times the money and his vision through his is terrible. In my opinion its a bang for the buck. We've owned this cam for 2 years now and no problems.
