This camera is small but awesome! They can hear me clearly when talking. Haven’t looked at the night vision being I unplug the camera once I get home. I would buy more of these

I have to check the history after it rings. So I can be looking out my window and see someone pass by. Once they are out of sight the ring will ring. Like the fact one can go back and check the history to see what time the mail has been delivered. I like it

We are happy to provide you with more information regarding the delay concern that you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not functioning as expected. Notification delays are often related to wifi connection or mobile device variables. A delay of under six seconds is expected due to signal fluctuation. To learn more about your device's signal strength, follow these steps:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the Ring device you would like to test.
Tap on the Device Health tile.
Scroll to Signal Strength under the Network section.
The green, amber, and red colors are indicators of your device connection. Green is good; red is poor.

I use it secondarily as an actual security camera. I only wish that I Could have Alexa put it into different modes. I do t have any other ring devices so I have to go through the app to change it to Disarmed, Home, Away modes. I just wish I could say “Alexa, arm ring” without the other ring devices and hubs. Setup was also very easy

Easy to connect and mounting options are great! I have both these and the blink cameras. Both are great overall! The only disadvantages of having both ring and blink is that they run on different apps, which I didn't know when I ordered the blink cameras. But other than having different apps, the quality of the products are the same. I would recommend both the ring and blink cameras to anybody looking to get into the modern day camera-age!
