I own many ring devices and have to admit this is one of the easiest ones to set up. The picture is perfect and the night vision is outstanding.

Had some activity going on in my back yard. Put this ring camera up in my patio, and first day I caught the intruders. Great battery life.

Overall, it does a very good job. You lose some detail when zoomed in but the picture is still a pretty good quality. A point of dissatisfaction for me is that it is only available in white. I keep hearing and reading that it will be available in dark grey - “soon”. I have heard that for quite a while now. It stands out, despite its small size, like a sore thumb. There’s no hiding this little device. It would connect to my router. Setup kept saying the camera was too far from the router, when it was about a foot away. Tech help didn’t get it connected either. I had to get a Ring Doorbell Chime Pro - I think that’s what it was. The camera connected to the Chime Pro and the Chime Pro connected to the router. Very frustrating, but it is working now. Had it been available in grey, I would have bought four.

Works great . Have other ring devices and have not had any problems with them yet.

I purchased the Ring camera for indoor surveillance. I love the new modes on the Ring app. You can turn off the camera through the Ring app when you are at home. The camera covers a lot of area in my living room, kitchen, and dining area (open floor plan) and small enough to be unnoticeable. I have it on my bookcase and people do not see it. My dog has finally realized I am talking to her through the white thing on the bookcase. The 1080p has great video quality. I would recommend the Ring security camera.
