    Setup was quick and straightforward, and the picture quality is clear both day and night. The motion detection is accurate, and I appreciate the option to plug it in so there’s no need to worry about charging. The built-in privacy cover is a great feature for peace of mind when the camera isn’t in use. The only downside is that the app can feel a little slow at times, but overall it’s a dependable indoor security camera at a good value.

    Works perfect! You do need a subscription to maintain anything more than basic live view features, but the setup is mostly plug/play and the image quality is excellent for the price.

    They do not work for 5 G internet!! Do not buy!! Spectrum can not help resolve the problem either bc it is 2.4

We value the experience you have with Ring, and want to ensure the Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen.) is meeting the standards it's intended to provide. You should be able to enjoy the peace of mind that the Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen.) is designed to add to your home security.

      It sounds like you are experiencing a connection issue with the device. If you have troubleshot your signal strength and are still experiencing poor connectivity, you may want to reset your modem and/or router. Refer to your modem or router manufacturer’s instructions for resetting your device. Most Ring devices (including the Ring Indoor Cam) are designed to function with a 2.4GHz wifi signal for the best range. Other devices can also operate using a 5GHz signal. If your device is connected to a 5Ghz network and is disconnecting from the network or having connectivity issues, you can attempt to connect to a dedicated 2.4Ghz network, provided by your wifi router.
