Indoor Cam is Very Good

I like this camera. Recording video through a clear window at night is very good. Recording through a window with a screen is ok. Recording video over wide angle and depth is very good. I like the motion setting for persons or cars. I like the default zones. I dont like that changing the default zones beyond a certain point is very difficult. The are 8 dots on the sides , which are difficult to move. I called Ring, rep suggested using the motion wizard. It is less challenging when using the wizard, still hard. Overall, this camera is a very good product. The $50price is reasonable

The camera does exactly what I need it to do. Installation was simple. It covers a wide angle. Video quality is great. Sound is clear. I have no issues so far. I would definitely recommend it, especially at the price I purchased it.

I recently purchased the Ring Indoor Plug-In 1080p Security Camera (2nd Generation) with Privacy Cover in Black, and it has been an excellent addition to my home security system. The camera delivers clear, high-definition video, making it easy to monitor my home in real-time. The privacy cover is a thoughtful feature, allowing me to quickly cover the lens when privacy is needed. Installation was straightforward, and the plug-in design means I never have to worry about battery life. The camera integrates seamlessly with the Ring app, providing easy access to live footage, recorded videos, and alerts. The motion detection is highly responsive, ensuring I am promptly notified of any activity. The sleek black design is discreet and blends well with my home decor. Overall, the Ring Indoor Plug-In 1080p Security Camera offers reliable performance, ease of use, and essential privacy features, making it an excellent choice for indoor security.

Love the camera, but hate the RING system. I also bought 2 RING doorbells. If you don't pay a yearly subscription, it doesn't record at all, only notifies you of movement. The subscription is $50/yr for 1 or $100/yr for more than 1 device. There is a monthly plan too that is more expensive. For the price, it would be nice if their products recorded and deleted after 24 or 48hrs without paying extra. There is another product that does this. I will be switching mine out to those instead of buying more RING products. The camera itself works well. The picture is clear and it reacts to motion effectively.

It sounds like you are concerned with the need for the Ring Home Plan subscription. The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events. We are always looking for ways to better our neighbors' experiences, and your feedback is an invaluable part of that process. Rest assured, we do take our customers’ feedback seriously and implement good ideas where we can.

A Reliable Home Security Solution.
I've been using a Ring camera for a few days now and I'm thoroughly impressed. The ease of installation was a major selling point for me, and I was able to get it up and running in no time. The video quality is excellent, both during the day and at night. The night vision feature is particularly impressive, providing clear footage even in low-light conditions.
One of my favorite features is the two-way talk function.
Overall, I highly recommend the Ring camera as a reliable and affordable home security solution. It's a great way to keep an eye on your property and deter potential intruders.

Given the fact that crime is becoming prevalent, in this era, it is wise to invest in surveillance. This amazing camera allows you to get the whole picture. There are many features, including the following: real time alerts, privacy, and versatile mounting options. It is easy to install and access, as well. I highly recommend this popular ring camera for your protection.

Plug in and for a low cost one connected to ring subscription is a win win situation. I am satisfied with the clear video quality. I am not using the privacy cover except for the first time. So cannot comment about that feature. Has night vision in infrared and motion detection for arming the ring devices. Lot of features packed in a small device. Would be 100% if a tilting/panning feature is also provided

This was perfect for what I needed. I purchased this to use as a sort of baby monitor for my toddler when it was time for the crib to go and hopping out of bed became an option. It connects to the Ring app so you can watch from wherever you are, and it notifies you when there is movement. You can close the cover to turn it off and just open it up to start it back up again, so I never feel weird about it being there when it's not needed. You don't have to just trust that it's off and no one can watch. (Maybe that's a me thing, but it gives me peace of mind.) Another nice feature is the ability to share with other Ring users. It's great for me because when I'm at work, I can peek in at the aforementioned toddler periodically, and so can whoever's home if they want to check or if there is movement. You can also see when someone else has viewed it live. I've heard a lot about peoples' baby monitors getting hacked, and this just seems like a safer option and is cheaper than the video monitors that actually are secure. You can also talk through it if you want.
