    I got 2 cameras chep defective product never buy again plug in cameras from firng. Doesnt want to conexct. Spent 2 hours on the phone with service tech. They told me just return product

      The Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen.) is designed to be a DIY home security solution that can be trusted to provide you with lasting coverage. Rest assured, we hear you and are here to offer you some help.

      It sounds like the device is not performing as intended in regards to connection upon setup. We recommend that you reset the device by pressing and holding the setup button on top of the camera for 10 seconds. Allow a full 60 seconds for the camera to power back on after the reset is complete. Follow the steps in the Ring app to connect the device to your network.

    Hard to rate because their shipper never delivered the product and will not refund or replace the items. Purchase somewhere with better customer service and reliable shippers such as Amazon.

    Had for 2 weeks before it stop working tried all the troubleshooting and still doesn’t work it was iffy when I first set it up that should of been the first sign

      Hi WayneJ, I know it can be frustrating to encounter technical issues. Your Ring Indoor Cam shouldn't stop working after only 2 weeks. Make sure it is plugged into a working power outlet, then try performing a reset by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds. Attempt a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. That should do the trick for you.     Not good quality purchased got my mother tried to return it passed the return date by 2 days store manager denied it. Will cancel and purchase at Amazon or somewhere more friendly

    After a month, it has already caused me errors and won't reconnect to my Wi-Fi. Since it's been over a month, I can't return it. Very disappointed.

      It sounds like your device fell offline and has not been able to reconnect. There are a number of things that can cause a wifi device to disconnect from your home network. Here are some of the top reasons why your Ring devices may be offline:

      You recently changed your wifi network, wifi password, or internet service provider (ISP).
      Your wired Ring device may not be receiving power, is unplugged, or the power is out.
      Your Ring device may be too far from your wifi router.
      Your Ring Chime Pro or wifi extender may be unplugged.

      If you have checked the issues above and your device is still not connecting to your home's wifi network, please reach out to our support team for additional troubleshooting steps.

      We understand how important it is to have good video quality from your home security devices. Being able to rely on the video to clearly see visitors at your home is an essential feature of the Ring Indoor Cam. We would like to ensure you are getting the most from your device.

      It sounds like you have some concerns with the video quality you are experiencing with your device. The Ring Indoor Cam is designed to provide up to 1080p HD video. If you’re seeing heavy pixilation in your video, this may be due to slow wifi speeds. We recommend following these steps to run a wifi speed test:

      Turn off your mobile phone’s cellular data and connect to the same wifi network as your Ring device.
      Open the Ring app.
      Tap the menu (☰).
      Tap Devices.
      Select your device.
      Tap Device Health.
      Under Tools, tap Test Your Wifi.
      Tap Start to run a test that will measure your upload and download speeds.
      Both upload and download speeds should be at least 1 Mbps or greater, but 2 Mbps or above is ideal.
      Check the numbers on your wifi speed test. If either your upload or download speed is below 1 Mbps, then you might consider replacing your router (especially if it's older than five years). Contact your internet service provider to learn more about getting newer equipment and faster speeds.

      It sounds like you are having trouble with your notifications. The Ring Indoor Cam is designed to send notifications based on your personal preference. Follow these steps to enable and customize motion alerts in the Ring app:

      Open the Ring app and tap the menu (☰) in the top-left corner.
      Tap Devices, then select the relevant device.
      At the top of the screen, you can toggle the following on or off:
      Motion Detection
      Motion Alerts
      Motion Warning (if your device has the feature)
      Tap the Motion Settings tile to customize settings such as:
      Motion Sensitivity.
      Smart Alerts (available to Ring Protect subscribers).

We can definitely assist you with this today to ensure your Ring device is online and performing optimally.

      It sounds like your device may have fallen offline. If your Ring device gets disconnected from wifi by network or battery error, you'll see a red icon on your Device Dashboard in the Ring app, letting you know your device needs attention.

      Tap the red icon and follow the instructions on the error screen to help you troubleshoot your issue. You'll see an error code with alphanumeric characters (i.e., P1-65, P1-67, P5-01), along with suggestions of Things to Check and Things to Try. You may need to reboot your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in again.

    Now I can see everything what's happening in my living. This indoor ring camera is very discreet and very small. I can even speak though it from the app. Very convenient.
