Bright lights

I wanted it because I have the ring door bell and I was so please that decided to stay with the ring product and add on. I also wanted wireless. To my surprise I am very please. When I turn in my drive way at night, the wireless motion ring lights turn on and shows bright. This is a great product.

The motion detection can easily be pushed out of the way to not trigger, should be able to lock in place. Also there is no really good way of determining range or detection zone. Have lots of trial and error and zone seems to 'drift'. Annoyed that I needed to spend another $50 for a 'bridge device' to link it to other devices. Seems like an engineering failure. Was taken back that battery meant 2 D cells & not a chargeable battery. At full brightness, not that bright, interested to see how long batteries last.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. The Ring Bridge is part of the Smart Lights line of products that strengthen your security while illuminating your home and property. The Ring Bridge is the central point for connecting all Ring Smart Lighting products. It enables smart lighting control from anywhere using the Ring app and lets Ring Smart Lighting products interact with other Ring products for enhanced security. Without the Ring Bridge, your Smart Lights function only as individual units. With a Bridge, you can control whole groups of Smart Lights and other Ring products at once and be notified via the Ring app when any light or Motion Sensor senses movement.

I had hopes for these

They were easy to set up. I installed 2 of the 3 I purchased. Within a few hours one disconnected from the bridge and then the other. After troubleshooting, I got 1 set back up. The other one never reconnected. Ring support never responded until I got an email to rate them and I rated them the lowest I could. They suggested putting the light closer to the bridge but it still didn’t work when the bridge and light were sitting right next to each other on the table. I plan on returning these and buying some more Arlo lights. And looking for a new video doorbell to get rid of Ring altogether.
