You can connect it to the Ring Bridge to unlock smart controls and custom combinations in the Ring App. The Ring Bridge lets you group together Ring Smart Lights and connect them to Ring doorbells and cameras. If one Ring Bridge-enabled device detects motion, it can turn on lights, activate your cameras and more. The Ring Bridge also links your Ring Smart Lights to select Alexa-enabled devices, so you can turn on lights and adjust settings at the sound of your voice.

I love them.

The 4 D batteries last about 3-5 months in these so I replace a lot of batteries. But they look great and all come on at the same time if one detects motion. Really love them.

The newer model has a solar panel on top. I already had two of the new solar units. When this one arrived I was disappointed. It works but I wouldn't have purchased it if the website would have told me this was the older unit.
