These lights were extremely easy to setup and install. They add an extremely convenient motion activated light for my exterior stairs for nighttime. They also link with my various ring cameras to expand the motion sensing capabilities on my property in a less expensive way. Im ordering more for the interior stairs and garage!

These are good for patio step lighting. Bright, you can see the steps in the dark (and I like it that they have motion sensors too so they are not always on). The big negative is that they are indeed kind of chunky (thick) so where to mount is a decision to consider. I have mounted them on the support railing for the long stretch of steps downwards (instead of steps themselves) so I can use the steps in a safer manner. Another big negative is the number of batteries required. But -- I'll also say this -- solar would NOT work at all in this situation (even though the long stretch of outdoor stairs is exposed to the sky and sun). Just that solar panels have very limited lives and are very unreliable (which is why I chose these Battery powered ones)

This light is great. Motion, no wires and connect to your ring. I have a split level and this light is currently on the landing and comes on with motion so it makes this a perfect aplication to a normally dark area. That has no outlet for a plugin light.

Got this on sale and it works great. I had been thinking about getting one of these to go with my ring path lights to see how well it worked/lighted up the area and am happy to say it works great with motion sensing on my deck steps and is bright enough to light up the whole surrounding area around it

I tried endless amounts of solar lights for my deck steps, but all were dim and didn't last the whole night. These are exactly what I was looking for. I also purchased the Ring bridge so they can all work together and be controlled from my phone.

Have used for a couple of weeks.Motion sensing is good and all lights coordinate when1 senses motion.Not sure yet about battery life yet.

I absolutely love the Ring Smart Lighting step light. Very bright on the steps! Very easy to setup and i would highly recommend this to everyone!

The light itself is nice and bright. Build quality is top notch. The problem is wall mounting design is weak. Screw on plastic keyhole will not survive casual wear and tear for very long. I plan on using industrial velcro to improve and to secure the attachment.

This motion sensitive light does a nice job of lighting one step. Easy to set up and use.

Picks up movement very well and puts out enough light to get into the house safely. So glad we bought this!

This was my fourth or fifth Ring product purchase. I needed a motion light for going up the steps at the side entrance and this was perfect. Battery operated and easy to install. Automatically turns on when the motion sensor detects movement. A much better solution than leaving the porch light on all night!

Bought for my deck, but they are too bulky and tall for my deck steps. The rest of the products in the line work great. I’m giving these to my parents for their deck. Should work great for them.

These are excellent to light up steps at night. They link to each other and to your Alexa very easily. My only complaint is that batteries don't last more than 3 or 4 months which adds up the cost of having these.

I ADDED THESE LIGHTS TO MY RING FAMILY, PLACED ON MY HOUSE AROUND MY PATHWAYS, NICE ADDITION IN LIGHTING, MOTION ACCTIVED AND U CAN SYNC THEM TO UR CAMERAS WITH A RING BRIDGE, EXTRA PROTECTON!! BATTERY POWERED AS WELL SO NO WIRES!!!

Great step light to have when approaching your house steps. It lights up the floor and guides you from tripping over stairwell. When connected to Ring doorbell it’s great. Recommend.

I absolutely love these stair lights! I have them linked to my pathway lights in the driveway and they all work together! I can also have them turn on whenever needed!

The Ring Step light is great for walking down my staircase at night without having to turn on any light switches.

I purchased this product a few months ago and the light is very bright. I would purchase this product again. I love all ring products. Worth the money!
