Easy to install and connect to Wi-Fi. Allows you to adjust motion zones and sensitivity to tailor the camera to your situation.

As I never really paid attention to it after install I could not tell, but last week there was an incident and when I most needed it, it did not work (did not record the stranger walking out of our facility, only registered him walking in). I wish I could return this and upgrade to the Ring Floodlight version. @Ring, if you are reading this, please let me know if I have the opportunity to do that

We understand how important it is to have your Spotlight Cam Plus capture all the relevant motion events. The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus was designed to activate based on your specific needs. We can definitely assist you with this today, and we are confident we can find the correct settings for your home’s environment.
It sounds like your device is not detecting motion as frequently as you would like. The motion frequency control allows you to reduce alerts from repetitive patterns of motion or increase alerts so you get notified about the motion events that matter to you. Follow these steps to adjust the motion frequency for your device:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left of the dashboard.
Tap Devices.
Select the device you'd like to adjust.
Tap Motion Settings.
Tap Advanced Settings.
Tap Motion Frequency.
Select Frequently, Regularly, or Periodically.
Frequently, motion detection stays active. Shortest battery life.
Regularly, motion detection takes a short break after each motion alert. Medium battery life.
Periodically, motion detection takes a longer break after each alert. Maximum battery life.
Tap Save in the upper-right corner.

This one is mounted in the backyard very close to a Nest camera which I needed to replace since Nest has an incompetent Call Center & wouldn’t help me. The Ring cameras has much better resolution & is working much better. I have over 20 Ring cameras & I have been very satisfied with their performance & their Call Center.
