Camera sits above our garage and provide excellent surveillance combined with our other Ring products. We have it perfectly setup to slightly overlap with our front door and other side of the house camera. Ring setup is super easy and even easier after you have one product already in place.

I love this Ring camera, especially after adding the solar. I never have to change batteries except once or twice during the winter.

If your looking for a straight forward install, this is all you need. Installing and setting up this cameras was a breeze. If you are lazy to charge the battery every two weeks then buy extra battery if you are installing the camera on high traffic area. So far this units served their purpose.

Took a little time figuring out how I would mount. I ordered some no hole vinyl siding hooks and it looks and feels pretty secure. I attached a picture. The wire you see is from the ring solar panel. I would like to have been able to tilt the camera a bit lower but it popped out of its ball socket mount if I get too forceful with it. But it has a wide viewing angle so it's fine. I just felt the view of my patio ceiling was a waste. The video quality is excellent. It is High Definition. I started wondering why my ring doorbell wasn't so good and it was because I had an older version that wasn't HDR. So I may be upgrading my ring doorbell.

This is awesome considering most legit camera are over $300 each this has a spot light plus and looks and feels like a commercial item vs consumer item. Good item for the price

It does the job. Lights up a dark area where my trash cans are kept as I approach the area plus records audio and video. The RING camera comes with a 30 day Protection plan which once it expires I will decide if I want the Protect Basic plan for $30 per year for 1 device or the Protect Plus plan for $100 per year for many devices. The video is sharp and clear plus the mic works well in order to be heard by the person being viewed (much better than the mics on my ARLO cameras). The only issue I had was connecting the RING solar panel, which was resolved by holding the bottom on top of the camera, see my solar panel review for more.

Set and forget surveillance camera for near by home activities: from peeing dogs in your front yard for capturing inmates dying around :)

I have the ring doorbell 2 I also bought 3 stick up cams but this by far is the best camera yet. I have it placed in a spot in the back yard that there is next to no light back there and the led lights this camera have are amazing. The quality of picture at night is beyond words I have a camera system and this one camera out beats all the other ones I have. Great camera for the price.

I love these cameras. They work very well. I have 5 and definitely will recommend them.

I love this system. It’s very easy to set up without ant techno skills. I use mine on my iPad, my iMac, and my iPhone. I’ve used my a little different than other people. I use it to catch raccoons on my property. I create failsafe strategy’s to catch them every time and relocate them. This unit use two batteries for twice the amount of time. I lay in the comfort of my home with my iPad and figure the best locations For the live traps. I catch around 5 per week.

Cameras work okay but the view isn’t clear but still a good camera. Love the fact it is wireless. Easy to install. Save money when you buy the two vs just the one when on sale. Love that I can hear and speak to whoever is in the yard. The lights are not super bright but it does the job. Overall happy I purchased them, no regrets.

Bought it since got a discount. I have two already installed and this would be the third. In addition, I bought the associated solar panel since I do not have to charge the battery. The solar panel keeps the battery at 100% charge. That has been my experience with the existing other two Ring security cameras. I really like the view that these cameras provide, especially when I am away from home.

This Ring camera is great it’s easy to install and the video quality on the camera is great. It has a built in 2 way microphone, a siren led lights and much more. This is my second one of these ring spotlight cameras and I have not had any problems with them. Great camera.

You cannot control this unit like you think you would be able to. It's not sensitive enough to pick up on my dogs unless they are right under it!! I need to be within 8 or less feet of it to recognize there's a person there. The lights started to come on when they were supposed to be off! That's when I returned it for the new Pro model.

Absolutely love my Ring spotlight camaras. Total surveillance is achieved not only by these 2 spot nightlight cameras but also my Ring doorbell. Highly recommend
